Well done to Scotland U19's who won their group in the Euro Championship qualifiers today. Joe Chalmers scored & Islam Feruz scored a hat-trick in their 4-3 win over Switzerland :-) Mrs E

Believable7 Unbelievable2

I thought Feruz didn't want to play for Scotland

Agree0 Disagree0

Feruz is a bad egg,.,.kbarry

Agree0 Disagree1

Naw mate he's just a Baw Bag.

Agree0 Disagree1

Is furez still at chelsea? Ed can you help in that and if you know how it's going there for him, as to is he getting game time or how he has progressed? Have they become tiered of him now or has he changed? Just wondering but after what he did don't really care about him. {Ed001's Note - he is at Chelsea playing for their youth teams. As far as I am aware there are no signs of him leaving, but it is early days and he has barely settled in. Problems usually come when they have their feet under the table and get too big for their boots.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Happy for all, apart from Feruz. He is just a disgrace to humanity and would rather we lose before playing that wee scr0te...

Iain

Agree0 Disagree1

Lay of the kid he made a descision that we dnt agree with but the comments are a bit underhand here its agents tht sell the descisions to players

Agree1 Disagree0

He may have left Celtic under a cloud but he is one hell of a player and we should all back him when playing for Scotland.

Agree1 Disagree0

Because the guy felt his potential is bugger than the spl he decide to leave. You need to remember 99% of players are loyal to the biggest payslip. I dont see why anyone can criticise him. Everyone of us would leave our employer for more cash despite how much help they gave us in the past!

Agree1 Disagree0

He may have left Celtic under a cloud but he is one hell of a player and we should all back him when playing for Scotland.

Agree1 Disagree0

It wasn't that he wanted to leave it was his comments about Celtic and Tommy Burns after he left that people take offence to

Agree1 Disagree0

ED001, I do not know if you know the full story of the boy Feruz..
It was the late Tommy Burns who spoke up for him and his family to stay in Britain at an Foreign Office Tribunal. The boy then denied the help given by Tommy and made other remarks about Celtic who had bent over backwards to help. He has a poor attitude, he seeks help but gives nothing in return.
His attitude will never change as Chelsea will soon find out if the gravy train stops.
Timalloy {Ed001's Note - I have heard about it, have spoken to people who have dealt with him and he certainly did himself no favours. So far at Chelsea he is behaving himself, but it is early days, the true test of his attitude will come when he reaches the point of thinking he is ready for the first team.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Talking about attitude? Remember he is only a KID?! What where you like as a 13-16yr old?

Agree0 Disagree0

A kid who I wish Tommy had never intervened with! My previous comment stands...

well he should have been brought up better by his parents then. that boy/man is an absolute person and I hate hearing anything positive about him. Hope it all goes t@its up and he and his family end back where they were. sorry boys but thats how it is. Stevo Dundee

Agree0 Disagree0

The comments were directed at celtic. Tommy burns was his mentor maybe after tommy died the boy wad a little lost he may not have felt part off maybe he was greving we dont kno he is just a kid. He will grow up and will feel regret when he looks back most people do but name calling is out of order

Agree0 Disagree0

Some really really bitter comments, you honestly want the BOY deported because he felt he had potential to be better than the spl grade player?

Agree0 Disagree0

Feruz is a class wee player. I don't think personally he will make the grade at Chelski, not many youngsters do. but He will be a superb player for Scotland in a few years.
as for the Burns and anti Celtic thing....... hmmmmmmmmmm Forgiven, but will NEVER forget. It is how tommy would have wanted it, i think! HH

Agree0 Disagree0

Feruz is already on the fringe of the Chelsea first team. Type 'Islam Feruz Chelsea' into Youtube and you'll see why

does anybody know if thisis true.I have bought a ticket for the barca end in the nou camp next week and everything is fine and i have to collect the ticket at the stadium, but i have heard they will not be giving the tickets to anyone showing a uk passport,is this true?

Believable5 Unbelievable1

I'm not sure, I know they withdrew the money from my account already. Tickets are available to st holder if u take ur travel details up to ph.

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't have a season ticket and just bought it direct from barcelona, might email them and find out the situation.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes you will have to show you passport when you go to collect it and they wont give you it if its a uk passport , fab1

Agree0 Disagree0

Ticket office would not issue tickets to anyone with a GB passport when we last played barca in cl however they did if you had an Eire passport.

Agree0 Disagree0

My old man was at the Nou Camp last week and attempted to buy tickets and yes, they wouldn't sell him them with a UK passport.

Agree0 Disagree0

Cheers friends, may as well try to get a refund now and try to get a ticket another way

Agree0 Disagree0

Ive been nou camp last 4 times we played there without tickets but got them no problem. From what i can gather you can have tickets picked up with a receipt of purchase by someone else who has got another passport than GB, there will be plenty of bhoys with Irish passports who I'm sure could oblige picking up for you. Another way is to tip a taxi driver.

What if you argued the point you were a barcelona fan from the uk ? paulm80

This will help and should ease any worries you have.

Agree0 Disagree0

I was at the Camp Nou today. I asked directly about this issue at the ticket office I was told that I could buy any ticket online for any part of the stadium with no segregation and that behind the goal on the second tier was best value at 77 Euro per ticket. I was told I could come up and buy 3 days before the game or buy online all I needed was my receipt and my credit card to pick up tickets if bought online. ( why would I need a passport). It seems we are getting conflicting advice/info Sopot Celt

Agree0 Disagree0

SOPOT CELT,I phoned them as i have a ticket in the barca end, goal south nike1st s and they were adamant everything would be fine.As my ticket is ordered from my partners credit card i have to take the card,a copy of their passport and a letter from the cardholder authorising it,hopefully that will be fine

Agree0 Disagree0

I am planning to go up on Monday and buy the tickets. I could wait till Tuesday but I am less than an hour from the stadium and I want it sorted before match day..there will be plenty of tickets available as I was told they did not even have a capacity crowd for el Classico! They seem to be pretty relaxed and looking forward to welcoming the Tic fans. Thanks for the info. Sopot Celt.

Agree0 Disagree0

Is there a meeting point for the bhoys pre match for a bevvy? Big square at Placa de Catalunya at the top of Las Ramblas is always good. Not been to an away match for 20 years and sooooooooooo excited.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would they sell you a ticket through their website using a UK credit card, UK address and not let you attend the match. Some of you here are just scaremongering! Read the link above for re-assurance.

Agree0 Disagree0

I've a friend who speaks Spanish who phoned the ticket office (who also speak fluent English) explaining that l was a British passport holder who had bought tickets in the Barcelona end and she was told that as long as l produced the credit card that paid for the transaction then there would be no problem. l would also take a copy of the transaction and your passport just in case.

Agree0 Disagree0

Of course all not as I was told! If you attempt to buy tickets at the stadium you WILL NOT be allowed with a UK passport. I have just come from Camp nou and it is as exactly as posted earlier in the thread. I was clearly told last week no problem to buy at the ticket office. All is well however as a friendly Irish guy stepped in and showed his passport and hey presto two tickets for second teir behind the goal reserved for Barca fans were placed into my sweaty palm. All for the princely sum of 154 euros. And no Uefa rules broken!Barca may have some of the best players in the world but their admin is shocking! Big thanks to the Irish guy. I owe you a pint! Supposedly we are going to sell Hooper for 7m in January and Marcus Pederson is his direct replacement

Believable7 Unbelievable13

Never heard of Marcus Pederson mate. Any good? Or are you meaning Morten Gamst Pederson? If so, no thanks, he's not even a striker.

Agree0 Disagree0

Marcus Pederson, 22 year old 5ft 11 striker who plays for odense on loan from vitesse. Never really heard alot about him bit then again we didn't really know Hooper so just lets hope if its true then the scouting system deliver once again hh

Not a rumour but a query. Does anyone know what paul mcstay is doing and why he has not done any public appearences at parkhead since hes retired ( at least I think he hasnt)

Believable0 Unbelievable6

Lives in austrilia now has his on web business i think

Agree0 Disagree0

He lives in Sydney Austrailia now!

Agree0 Disagree0

Does he not live and work in Australia now?

Agree0 Disagree0

The Maestro lives in Oz now.Heard he started his own business there, thats all i know.

Jungle Bhoy.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lives in oz,.,.kbarry

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah, he co owned a web design company in Glasgow, he left a couple of years ago to grow the business.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah he's over here, they'll probably get him on the telly when we play Barca, which is always good, he's doesn't talk absolute drivel like some of them.

Melb Bhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

He was actually at Celtic park Saturday and I was fortunate to get a photo taken with the maestro. Said that he is over for a week on business but living life in Australia.

Agree0 Disagree0

The maestro Paul
mcStay currently resides in Sydney Australia, has his own business migybite.

Agree0 Disagree0

Had my photo taken with him at a private party we were both at on 15th September. Very nice humble man who when l thanked him thanked me back. Did'nt want to intrude in his privacy by asking him questions but he is based in Australia now.

I think we will sell hooper if we are out of Europe come January and I think we will use that money to make Miku's move a perm one.

Hail hail

Marco1888

Believable2 Unbelievable14

No chance mate, they want about 7m euros for Miku. He hasn't played too many games to judge yet but under no circumstances will we pay anywhere near that money

Gary

Agree0 Disagree0

I would rather use the money to give hooper the contract he is looking for, and in my opinion deserves.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hooper gets a goal every 0.6 games ,miku hasnt had a shot on target yet , to give what hooper reportedly wants would cost approx 4 mill over 4 years miku is quoted at 7mill and we dont know how he will turn out yet, then add his wages to that. so its a no brainer pay hooper what he wants or near it ,,,,deep river bhoy

If Hooper goes in January, we must get fee of at least 6m.
Put it together with Ki money, and profit off our CL games. Then use it sensibly like renewing our best player's contracts. Signing up and coming players for small fees but hopefully with a bigger sell on fees.
Next year we may struggle to reach CL, so I can see this money having to last both seasons.
We will not spend massively, but I will be happy with 3 or 4 really good promising players coming in to help out what we alrady have. Timalloy

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree with the op, miku has not played a lot in the games but when he has he has been impressive and has a lot to offer and seems he would understand the club and what it means. No matter what it will be hard to replace hooper and I hope we get him on long contract but don't think it will happen. Miku brings expirence from a better league and he will fit in just needs more game time to score and show what he has got to win over the hard heady fans.
