Wolves set to sign Kris Commons in January

Thank F said last season he was no good unless he was scoring and got shot down. now hes no scoring everyone sees how limited he is

Agree0 Disagree0

If a bid does come in for Commons will be interesting to see how much its for considering what we paid for him ! I'm hoping he can sort hmself out (whatever it is) - Chrissy

Read too much of the papers and thought he was better than anyone else, long way back now and will require total dedication and discipline.
Not sure he has it!

Wolves won't go for him in jan. Look at the size of him just now. just imagine the nik he'd be in after xmas dinner. No chance of playing in epl, lower championship club or league one is that guys level. thank god he chose the pigory over ibrox eh. j1985

Think he will go to EPL to boost his england chances. He's a good player and if its for £7m then its great business for Celtic

Agree0 Disagree0

I would bite their hands off. Hooper did well last season but not so well when the chips are down. To my mind no better than McD who we sold with a one goal every two games record. Perhaps he wants a move or he maybe has lost form. On both counts 7m is huge money even in Hooperman turns out to be a great success in England. I know I will probably be slated for this but perhaps we need to keep 5 first team players and not necessarily the most expensive onesand clear the rest out. Take the funds and buy players who have a winning mentality and care about the manager and club...if that is possible these days.

Agree0 Disagree0

Never get 7m absolutely no chance after fifa are changing the way clubs spend money, stupid big money moves could be a thing of the past, which is a good thing and a bad thing for scottish football as a whole {Ed007's Note - The new rules means clubs can only spend what they make and only effects teams playing in European competition.}

Agree0 Disagree0

His record was better than Andy Carroll's, now I'm not suggesting that we are going to get what Newcastle got for him, but the starting price should be £7m {Ed007's Note - I think Andy Carroll was one of the worst pieces of transfer business in world football in recent years BUT without going into too much long winded detail, it was Chelsea who bought Carroll for LFC as part of the Torres deal. I doubt LFC would have paid £35 million for him but he was the player they wanted to replace Torres or there would have been no sale to Chelsea.}

1st post was bang on. Think he will go (don't know when tho) to the EPL to try n boast his chances of getting a England cap. If a bid of 7 million came in then good business, only cost 2million (ish) so maybe 5 million profit.my only though is if he goes we have sammi stokes & bangura left. Sammi well let's see how he is now after gettin to goals for Greece,stokes think he could still get in the starting 11 but keeps gets knocked back for the big games,bangura (right now) still trying to find his feet.
