Neil Lennon on TV urging board to loosen purse strings and help him deliver 100 points in SPL.
If that's not a verbal statement of commitment nothing is.
Well done Neil.

Is it? or is it an ultimatum he already knows the answer to and let's face it so do we all. but is he saying this team is not good enough to get 100 points in a league with no rangers those comments should be done directly to lawwell I always find it strange when its done through the media i'd be much happier if he said nothing

Agree0 Disagree0

I have been saying this for ages if the board want us great Celtic fans to be there through good and bad times wich we have been they need to in return show some ambition and back the manager and team with some finances to strengthen our great club

Agree0 Disagree0

The article said he wanted £10M, but I assume that was £10M + the money from any Summer sales.

Well done forster on england call up. Thought big kelvin worth a shout. Gopher proving himself in the prem is only way for call up

Believable8 Unbelievable3

Congrats to big Fraz. Your heads nipping if you think Kelvin Wilson is even close to being good enough to play for England though.

Agree0 Disagree0

*hooper. Predictive txt strikes again lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Big kelvar has to be a better bet than ferdinand?

Agree1 Disagree0

Well done ff but Wilson has a chance because hodgson likes him so might not be along shot that yous think for he is a solid cb, and I would think that if ff gets some games they would maybe want the cb that works with him all the time for wilson and ff seem to be a good combo

Agree0 Disagree0

Everyone know that big fraz is the best english keeper this season. If he doesn't get a game for engurland in the next few games then Hodgson has got a massive agenda with the spl

Agree1 Disagree0

Love Forster, but ever since he had the neck injury and was out for a few weeks I don't think he's played well at all. Is it me or does he concede a lot of goals from getting megged

Agree1 Disagree0

Forster best English keeper? Have you not heard of Joe Hart?

Agree0 Disagree0

I totaly agree. since his injury he was only half the man he can be. he did still male some nice saves lile against st. mirren but looking at how he was against barca and hearts etc. , he was looking lile one of the greatest goalkeeper i've ever seen. example: before the injury he was far better than valdes, after he couldn't compete with buffon.

Agree0 Disagree0

Joe Hart has been rank rotten this year. Forster was in immense form until his injury and has been shaky since he came back. Can only remember one decent save.

As for kelvin Wilson getting a call up, had you been on the happy juice? He's not good enough full stop. He's a liability and a donkey.

Joe Hart? Has he been good enough this season with the defence he has infront of him? No I don't think so, he was shocking during champs league and hasn't been the same keeper this season as he was last season in the EPL, so yeah big fritz fozzy in my opinion is the better english keeper THIS season so far, proved in champs league he can handle it better than Hart. Hoops will get his call up if he keeps pluggin away, he's went off the boil so can't expect him to be picked ahead of welbeck, welbeck has looked good in recent weeks but hooper is nowhere near his usual standard so won't get looked at to be honest, he won't get a call up playing like that down south and I honestly don't see him getting a call up unless he joins one of top 10 teams anything under that he still won't get his call up, look at all the good english strikers in the bottom half of the table, they have never had a look in either so why would hooper be any different if he went to a norwich or southampton etc. He is best off where he is, I'm sure if he kept scoring goals in champs league Hodgson COULDN'T ignore him for too long.

Reports linking 6'6" Oldham forward Matt Smith with Celtic. Not a great goalscoring record but he was the star of the show in their cup ties with Liverpool and Everton this season and is still only 23.

Believable1 Unbelievable14

Matt smith (23) career total (league)7in62, tony watt (19) 7in20, I know its most likely paper talkpish, but if there is any truth in it what is the point of a youth system or lennoxtown,,,, deep river bhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

@ DRB; We badly need a plan B mate. A player who attacks crosses would be a good option. green jhedi

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree gj, have said it for years but john park must have a bad neck as he only sees the players in the midfield,,, deep river bhoy
