How many strikers do we now have on the books and how many goals do they have between them?

It's all very well bringing in all these young 'future prospects' but we end up loaning half of them back out or they leave without making any impact in the first team.
We should be bringing through our own home-grown prospects (the same as all the other SPL clubs) and using transfer money to attract the quality we are crying out for.

Completely agree with you JJ, we should be using our youth squads who continually dominate Scottish football with the odd homegrown player coming in (ie Ryan Gauld, Gary McKay-Stevens, Stevie May, etc) then spending the odd £4-5m on one quality signing each summer. Whether that's a CB, creative mid, winger, FW!

ED007 a player I have admired for some time is Olic, now playing with Wolfsburg.
At one stage he was being courted by the really big clubs, but seemed to lose his way a bit.
Now at Wolfsburg he seems to have regained his scoring touch and I was wondering if Celtic had an interest in him. I know even smaller German teams pay good wages, but I doubt he would be on massive wages and could be a good option for Celtic, to get an experienced player especially for next season CL games. Your thoughts Timalloy {Ed007's Note - Ivica Olic? He is 34 now Timbo and is on about 6 million Euros p.a. at Wolfsburg. He also refused a move to Lazio when he left Bayern Munich because he didn't want to leave Germany for family reasons.
Olic is out of contract in the summer of 2014 but I would expect him to be looking into a player/coach role somewhere in Germany or possibly back in Croatia.}
