I would prefer someone better and with European experience not a guy that approved the 20 million signing big MCBurnie.

Would you not think that Celtic had candidate (s) in mind long ago and have made inroads already? Why would they consider a last-minute addition generated by a clue-less media and fluctuating bookmakers?

Things change OAB. If the right person became available last minute there's every chance the club would move on it. Whether Chris Wilder is such a person is another matter.

OAB, how do you know him leaving Sheff Utd isn't something to do with an approach from us a while ago? I'm not saying it is, I really have no idea, but unless someone knows something as fact then it can't be assumed. We're all in the dark together and the board need to pull out something very special to get us back to our No.1 position because that's where we belong. We have shown it season after season over the last two decades and the club has a duty to put it right. HH.

Would take him in a heart beat. But the rumour is he left because Sheffield United are adopting dof model. So if that's true it rules us out.

Because they had no other striker. Every manager makes mistakes on transfers. He's one of the best managers in English football tactically and a good man manager. It won't happen because he won't work with a dof. But he is held in high regard and all the Sheffield United fans are gutted. They where favourites to go down last year and done superb with a team that cost hardly anything. The likely hood is he didn't sign all those players brought in this season.
