Ed any idea what the situation with Brozek is! Only played 20 mins against Hearts and hasn't had a sniff since! Wasn't even on the bench yesterday! Seems a bit strange to me!

Might be that only 5 subs in scottish cup game and we had three strikers on the pitch to start off with

IMHO there are many reasons players are brought to CFC. He is there to mitigate risk, reduce the chances of us being caught bare. GH is doing well and is injury free, Stokesy is doing OK Sami is on one of his crests (for how long who knows) Brozek is just a little unfortunate everyone is playing well and are injury free. For example Stokes to me is a good SPL player and gets a little out of his depth with classier opposition ( I know he scored 2 against Rennes) but he gets a barrow load of assists and he scores some corkers, you also cant doubt the laddies commitment to the club. SO how does Brozek push him out. Hooper will play every week. Hes our best striker and the most feared. Sami is making a real nuisance of himself and is getting more room and is exciting to watch even when he dollys the ball into the keepers arms after a mazy run. Brozek has no chance I am afraid given the circumstances. Paddy is getting scraps due in no little way to Forrests emergence and the young Nigerian boy is also struggling because McGeough is above him in the pecking order. NL has everyone on their toes (except maybe FF) Few can be assured of a first pick maybe even including Broony who I am a big fan of. Look at our full backs, an embarrassment of riches. Lustig is quality and he cant get in the team! I want to see more of Brozek but the small glimpse I got of him reminded me of Hooper although Brozek seems happier carrying the ball.IMHO Its not been this good since 2003 and if we keep Hooper Brozek may not have his contract extended.

Probably not good enough, a lot of fringe players will get a chance when the title is wrapped up.

and big Fraser being replaced last min yesterday any word on why?

Lubo25 {Ed007's Note - I think Ibrahim will get some game time as a sub soon, if not then I would expect him to given a few starts once the league has been tied up Lubo. As for Zaluska coming on, I have no idea what the reason was.}

I'd like to see zaluska given more of a chance, he's a good keeper and in my opinion better all round keeper than Forster.

Is it possible that Zaluska was brought on at the end in order to receive a medal if we reach the final?

Zaluska gets some appearance money. I also expect he will start a few games. NL is a master and dont be surprised if FF is left out of one of the big games or a final. He is stalling with signing a deal and as such IMHO he should be left in no doubt that there are others at the club who will take his place. I am a fan of FF, always have been, however I feel he is overplaying his hand and as such there should be consequences. This is Celtic!

Doeant really put the wind up us, a billionaire majority shareholder, can't think what other team in Scotland has one of them...

You got a point their just hope if it does happen AEG buying rangers he could be as tight as your Desmond or as stupid with his cash as Ambramovich lol desmond net worth 1.45 billion v Philip Anschutz net worth 7.5 billion then again these guys never got that rich with being stupid lol

It would be stupid for AEG to plow money in with no return whatsoever. Abramovich plows money in but he gets a return on his investment through the money received by a top premier league club. Anschutz will get nothing back from his investment at all. Celtic is a well run club we live to our means, hence why we aren't up s**t creek and you lot are.

If AEG are to invest it may be positive for Scottish football. First they have to ensure proper governance and then they have to balance the books. Not an easy task. I do hope we dont end up going down the route of another super power fight for supremacy. I had hoped if RFC survive this sh**pot of their own making that some rationalization with a realistic approach of buying only what they can afford as oppose to getting huge cash injections. I am ever hopeful the fair play process will thwart this kind of escalation nonsense ( which RFC started with Murray and Souness) however I fear there will be ways around it, after all RFC are masters at bending breaking and ignoring the rules!

For me, buying one of the old firm is a good investment if you want CL football.

There are so many good teams down south that makes it very hard for anybody to get into the top 4. Would cost a lot less to make sure the OF were in the CL every season.
