Think his contract is officially up on the 31st of June, hopefully it's not the last time we see the big man at lennoxtown!

Ed 007 Do you know if there is any truth in a top four premier league side interested in forster or is this paper talk?
Several reports saying leicester are the team being mentioned.

{Ed007's Note - Sounds like paper talk to me unless whoever is it want him as a No.2 which Forster won't be interested in. Kasper Schmeichel has another 3 years to run on his deal and as far as I know he has no intentions of leaving Leicester and Leicester aren't looking to sell him.
Remember Rodgers and his team didn't want Gordon as our GK because he is awful with the ball at his feet so can't play the sweeper-keeper role so I doubt they would be interested in Forster for the same reason.}

I thought it said “top four English club” never said premier league though. I might be wrong I just assumed they were talking about the championship?

{Ed007's Note - So Ayr United are a "top four Scottish club"?}

😂😂, it said a top four English premier league club on various reports but I think they're going by current standings with leicester being 3rd at the moment as they are hardly a top 4 club.
Supposedly leicester and man city are the teams being mentioned but he ain't going to sit on the bench at city and if schmeichel has another few years on his deal then I doubt they'll be in for him either, it wouldn't even bother me if we splashed out the big bucks for him even if he's 32, he's irreplaceable and his quality alone in Europe will pay back the club.

No chance of Man City or Leicester they play out from the back that won’t suit the big man, Liverpool need a back up keeper as there’s is honking but again they like to try and use keeper as a sweeper. Hopefully just paper talk after all the other lot beat Real to Hahagi and Bayern to the new kid from Leicester.

Keep seeing david turnbull and scott mckennas names being mentioned on several reports, don't know how to feel about this one if I'm honest, both look like they have potential to be better around better players but both injury prone at the same time.

I said further down the page Mark I think there could be something in the McKenna rumour on Turnbull I like the fact it would be Lennon's man no doubt its Lennon himself who wants him and not a scout which I like but do you take a punt after such a bad injury I doubt lawell will give that the green light.

I'm not sure about Turnbull but for some reason I think mckenna could end up a cracking player for us providing he stays fit, I know he's played poor the majority of the time he's played against us but he's solid and left footed which would provide balance to the back line, I'm not saying I would have him first team straight away and is the centre half we should go for but I think he's worth a punt.
We need to strengthen the defence just now more than the midfield so if it's a choice of they two I'd take mckenna.

i think mckenna would have to win a lot of us over if it was to happen, he has been very poor against us but then again edouard would make most look poor, the interview that sticks out to me was one with sam vokes at burnley after the double header he said mckenna was one of the toughest CB he's faced, high praise indeed from a guy up against premiership CB week in week out .

Agreed, he's a raw talent who just needs developed in the right hands and surroundings but it's hard to judge him alone when he's playing with sub standard players at aberdeen, he can't do it all himself. If there's a bargain to be found in this league then it's now and with aberdeen feeling the pinch there's a chance they'll accept, offer hendry plus cash for him.

Aberdeens chief executive is on record saying they don't need to accept any offer and won't consider anything other than market value, I don't think mckenna is worth the money they want for him but I could be wrong.
