T2: Trainspotting - I foresee a boycott ☺️

1.) 27 Jan 2017 21:27:28
How so?

2.) 27 Jan 2017 21:35:15
There's a hilarious scene in it that doesn't hold back and given they aren't known for their sense of humour, I can't imagine it'll go down well. In such circumstances, a boycott is usually their go to.

In saying that, they also lack self awareness so maybe it'll go over their heads. If not, they'll no doubt be blaming Peter Lawwell.

3.) 27 Jan 2017 22:43:22
Ooh, even more excited now. Keep the spoilers to a minimum though PP.

4.) 27 Jan 2017 22:50:43
I saw it last Sunday. I've waited all week just to say that! No more from me!

5.) 28 Jan 2017 00:12:33
must be something to do with hibees?

{Ed007's Note - I'm guessing something to do with an Orange Hall. Begbie's boy is played by a local Hamilton lad that goes to school and drama with my neice so I've been reading all the press releases she sends me and I was noticedTom Urie lost a shed of weight and plays a bouncer at an LOL.}

6.) 27 Jan 2017 23:27:02
Just back from watching it TPP, I was in tears at the bit your talking about! Bloody brilliant! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

7.) 28 Jan 2017 01:02:15
They're talking about it on Gers' forums as potential new anthem - and "about time [they] were recognised"! πŸ˜†

As I said: no self awareness!

8.) 28 Jan 2017 10:04:58
i was disappointed, THERE WIZNY ANY TRAINS IN IT, I CUDNY SPOT ONE, lol.

9.) 28 Jan 2017 18:33:21
Hopefully it's the bit from porno where they steal the money to make the movie by getting access to the zombie supporters bank accounts. They all seem to have the same 4 digit PIN number for some reason

16 Jan 2017 17:12:11
Random I know but JimTim - did you notice who scored a double in Germany yesterday? :P

1.) 16 Jan 2017 18:07:38
I did. Thought about posting myself to grab your attention. πŸ˜† I reckon he'll be out the equation now though, given their position, but Poulsen would be a great signing for us. I'd have their boy Selke too.

2.) 16 Jan 2017 18:33:42
Yeah but we were 12-18 months ahead of the game! No chance now.

3.) 16 Jan 2017 19:09:33
His record against the Klan is even better than Dembele's. Aye the one that got away, unlike some of the players I've suggested that have disappeared of the face of the earth.

4.) 16 Jan 2017 20:04:25
Who else have you mentioned JimTim? Interested to see where they are at? Think one we should go for is Rajkovic of Tel Aviv. Great young keeper

5.) 16 Jan 2017 20:50:07
Testing me there LM. Some have come good. Kante and Gueye were 'scouted' by myself the past two summers on here for example πŸ˜‰. Mentioned Sule a couple seasons ago, Clasie too. Quite a few more playing at top levels too. They've all already been in shop windows though I'm hardly an oracle. Can't think off the top of my head really tbh. But for every one of those there's two or three duds. Conveniently they escape my memory. Taylor-Sinclair, remember him? There's a one.

6.) 16 Jan 2017 22:37:28
Some midfield we could have had there! I do indeed, wigan was it he went to

7.) 17 Jan 2017 09:03:51
Aye, but he's at Doncaster now.

ED- Quick question

Did I imagine it or was someone saying over the last few weeks that they'd like to take their daughter to a game, but perhaps couldn't get tickets or couldn't afford it?

I've got a few tickets for Saturday's game and, if this is/ was the case, I'd like to offer two tickets up to the person in question, so that he could take her.

Obviously if I have just dreamed this or I've gotten the wrong end of the stick - ignore me!

{Ed007's Note - I don't know mate but that's a great gesture from you - even if you did imagine it lol. If anyone wants to get in touch with PP about this I'll sort it out, do I have your e-mail address, PP?}

1.) 23 Sep 2016 16:51:42
Fantastic gesture TPP.

2.) 23 Sep 2016 16:52:01
I'm sure I saw DN30 mention it the other day.

3.) 23 Sep 2016 16:54:01
You should have ED as it's linked to this but if not it's:

{Ed007's Note - (yes)

4.) 23 Sep 2016 19:07:55
Rabmac is right it was DN30 talking about the Alloa game.

5.) 23 Sep 2016 19:16:45
Echoed from above. tpp that is definitely ah great gesture mate!

6.) 23 Sep 2016 19:25:15
Well in mate good to see great guys like yourself still about.

7.) 23 Sep 2016 19:59:30
Hats off ttp, fantastic gesture , starting to feel glad I woke you from your slumber a couple of weeks ago, lol 😁.

8.) 25 Sep 2016 02:56:25
Even his sign in is a ghost.

14 Sep 2016 21:40:54
Legia took six at home and BM got done by four in Manchester.

There will be more drubbings, such is the gulf.

Interesting interview on Sky with Ian Bankier re BR's arrival.

When asked what made Brendan stand out from the other (seven candidates) , Bankier said "His passion for the job. From the get go, he said 'I really want this'. "

Good enough for me. For all my skepticism, I'm actually really excited - and it's as much to do with the statement (of intent) as the appointment.

1.) 21 May 2016 01:04:44
I was the same when Ronnie got the job, didn't take long for me to change my mind.

2.) 21 May 2016 01:44:23
Well you lasted a few hours this time at least. Brendan, like Ronny, will miss your support I'm sure.

3.) 21 May 2016 07:07:10
Well said TPP, It was refreshing to here banker say that BR came right out and said he really wanted the job, maybe Ed was a little bit right on some of his previous comments about his time at Liverpool, but I think maybe he was a bit star struck and that I am sure has gone, he has learned a hard lesson there which I think will stand him in good stead here.

{Ed001's Note - he said the same crap at Liverpool, along with telling everyone how he was a big Liverpool fan etc. He is very good at spouting PR cliches. It is the rest of the job he struggles with. He was far from starstruck, except by himself.}

4.) 21 May 2016 10:41:15
Ed001 take your negativity elsewhere and let us enjoy our moment πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

Interesting that Sinc, Forrest and Roberts are all starting. Roberts or Sinc in the hole?

{Ed007's Note - I said that Boyata would get game time when he was fit lol.}

When the nominations were announced, I thought MD was an absolute certainty - but when listening to the BBC Sportsound Podcast, they revealed that the players aren't actually told who is eligible/ of age, it's up to them to know, and that would have almost certainly counted against MD in the run up.

Not that KT didn't deserve it, especially as he missed 1/ 3rd through injury, I just thought it interesting!

That celebration at the end wasn't just embarrassing for Rangers, it really hit home how embarrassed we should be for drawing WITH you.

Rangers will be turning in their grave at that celebration.

Ha Jim - that made me laugh.

I'll take any win - preference to those that leave me with fingernails.

I'll go 2-0. Dembele and KT.
