watching this game and the thing I m noticing is just how good Guidettis movement is compared to the rest of the team. he's constantly moving in, out and side to side but were not picking him out. Also if were going to play stokes then it needs to be 2 up front. Especially against 10 men

sk87

1.) I hate when people go over the top praising or ridiculing our players . Guidetti is fine, he is a good striker but we have other good players in the team
It's not just the fault of the Celtic players when they are not linking up with him . Guidetti can be moving all the time but not necessary making the right moves . If he is as good as you say he is he should be joining Barcelona and Meesi and Squarez, instead of contemplating signing with Celtic or a team from the lower ranks of the EPL.

2.) Hold on a wee second chris, what are you on about?

I simply mentioned his movement was very good yesterday and He got into good space several times and was not picked out. Not once did I day he was amazing or playing with messi etc. Think u need to chill out a bit pal.

3.) Calm sk87 . I was trying to point out that although Guidetti may be our best striker just now, we shouldn't go over the top. I thought you were blaming the rest of the attackers for not been able to link up with him, I was just saying his runs could have been part of the problem .
I also don't like the way some people are carried away with the like of him and Virgil . Both are good players but they are not the only good players at Celtic and neither deserve hero worship just yet . Let us all keep calm and enjoy the good team that Deila is attempting to build, a good team of 11 players playing for each other .

Was looking at some of the free agents available just now and one name stood out to me. Sotiris Ninis, a young attacking midfielder who is also more than capable of playing on the wing. Just been released from parma after a dissapointing spell but I remember when this lad was the next big thing in Greece, seems as though he has had a dip in confidence and IMO if we signed this lad we would be onto a winner. At 24 he fits the boards policy of cheap youngsters with sell on value. Could be the creative spark we need.

1.) Hope The Board read these pages!

2.) Probably better for their self esteem that they don't look at these pages lol

Nope not for me, not because he left or anything but because I genuinely don't think he would score any more then Griffiths would if given the same game time in our current formation. Do we have any promising Strikers in the development squad these days? i'm not saying we rely on them, was just curious.

Aye the Eagles been out the game for a while now, used to have a no bad team out of there as well. Quite a few pubs closed in the glorious ML1 recently, shame. I knew big Archie as well, he was a good friend of my granda. Big gent indeed.

{Ed007's Note - I used to drink with Jnr Burns (the old Motherwell player) and the usual suspects in The Eagle down Forgewood and I was known to have frequented the Miners for a Saturday night grab a grannie when Archie McKay worked the door, I knew Archie since I was a pup from the boxing game and he put a lot of security/door work my way back in the day, another true gent that was taken from us far too soon by cancer.}

I don't think ciftci is a great signing but it doesn't make any difference what number he gets, far to many people are over sensitive when it comes to the no.7 jersey. The only thing that does worry me is that by being given the number it may look like he's going to be a first choice this season. I would prefer better quality striker and have ciftci as back up.

I can't see Mulgrew being a regular in one position next year, he will only play to cover injuries or to give people a rest IMO. I would totally disagree that Bitton will be replace by Mulgrew, Bitton is by far the better player in tht position I think. Mulgrew when playing in midfield was guilty of giving the ball a lot and Bitton is fr better in posession. I would still keep mulgrew but purely as a verstile back up player
