Liverpool fan here. Just about Fabio, from what I remember about his days with us, obviously he was not good enough to start or play week in, week out. However, this was from no lack of effort, and he was very motivated and always tried hard to prove himself to Rodgers (which ironically did result in him picking up 2 yellow cards in 20 odd minutes as a sub because he was trying "too" hard) .

If I recall correctly it was BR who was trying to get rid of Borini, and the season when he had returned from loan and could not sell him (he rejected a move, wanting to prove his worth) , BR excluded him from training with the 1s and tried to push him out the door. And to be perfectly honest, I think we had Balotelli at striker as everyone else were injured, so Borini was probably correct in thinking that he wasn't been given a fair shot.

I may be slightly biased, seeing as I did want BR gone, because I didn't think he had the quality to manage us back to the champions league consistently. Having said that, I think he has learnt from that experience and developed, as shown by your success this past season and wish him and you all the best.

Now I'm not saying it's all BR's fault as I don't know the full truth, but the two did have a falling out and in any case, I don't see him going to play under BR at Celtic any time soon because of this. I just thought I'd let you guys know of my recollections as you guys will probably have oppositely tinted views of BR from me, and I wanted to explain the other side of the story.
