If you sign for Celtic you become a role model so off field stuff definitely should be taken into account. I said that when we signed Griffiths and he's a very lucky bhoy still to be at parkhead with some of the stuff he's pulled.
I heard a story that was one of the reasons Burley got bombed out of parkhead.
He was messing around and bought a flat near parkhead for the bird.
He was o4dered to get rid of her and he didn't.
The Mrs found out and marched into the changing rooms with all his gear after a match and dumped the lot on top of him. He jumped to give her a slap and was stopped by Lambert.
Don't know how true but my uncle swore it was and he always had a few sources before he passed away.

I do ed but he didn't get stick from me, a celtic player or any club but especially celtic, should be a good role model for kids, especially their own. God forbid we have people who knock their spouses around and abandon their kids showing the upcoming generation that it socially acceptable to behave in that way. What will we end up with if that becomes the norm.

Young men wth plenty of money are always going to feck up at times. It is important they act properly, but if they don't, you have to give them a chance to change. That's dependent upon the behaviour obviously. They have to realise that its news and if they don't want that kind of exposure, then don't act like a cant. simple.
Battering a woman falls into the can't bracket so I wouldn't want us to sign him.

as DD says new manager will be announced in 4 to 5 days. it needs to go through the AIM as Celtic are a plc. that is where the hold up is.

Please anyone with sense read that, he did not come to celtic to play for the jersey or that they were his childhood idols. he did it because he had an immature playground grudge. I half expected Elhamed to start today. Frimpong has no end product and ca6nt defend and today was guilty of just cutting in and playing the negative pass sideways or backwards too many times we have no width which has been the case all season. Elhamed replaced Frimpong against Motherwell and set up Moi with a goal with his 1st ball into the box he's better going forward and defending than Frimpong.

Buzz; I am at the end of my tether with The Bhoys this season.
We had a party atmosphere opening day against Hamilton. but since the premature CL exit to Ferencvaros, we have suffered through utter mediocrity, with a few 'flattering to deceive' results but the bottom line is apart from the Aberdeen semi-final (which we rode our luck on the 2nd half) , we have failed at every difficult hurdle domestically and our EL campaign is in tatters. Interestingly enough you’ve now got a report of brown ( club captain) saying he has no knowledge of players wanting out etc, you’d think if there was unrest he’d surely know about it working closely with them day in day out. Lennons came out saying this has been ongoing the past 6 months. Mulumbu might not be the star studded signing we all wanted at Celtic but get him into the starting 11 asap and that means this Sunday against Sevco. We're far too slow and soft in the centre and need a lot more pressing and aggression. HH188.

Decent signing for me. Not the greatest signing. But we have the best player in the country and the best yound centre mid in the country in our team. What we needed was cover. I rated him at WBA and he was usually a stand out for Killie. The window has been poor so far but looking at the deal individually, it's not as bad as folk are making out.

I’m happy with the signing of Mulumbu. I feel
The the only player who we don’t have like for like cover should he get injured is Broony and I think Mulumbu can fill that void. Broony is 34 now so we cannot expect him to play in every game. Thought McGinn would slot in there eventually but as that ship has sailed I’m happy to get Mulumbu. I’m not comparing the two but he plays a similar style to Kante very energetic high pressing game.

It’s probably the same idea that they’ve got with the boy McCrory. Give him a stint in the middle to raise his passing levels and confidence in the ball before putting him back into defence a more accomplished all round player.
