Ed do u know if there is any actual interest in patrick Bamford,?
{Ed007's Note - Bamford is for sale and Chelsea would rather that but will send him out on loan if they can't find a buyer, I'm not aware of any Celtic interest in him.
While we're talking about Chelsea, Nathaniel Chalobah is with the first team squad in the United States so right now there will be no decision made - keep in mind that the new manager has only been with the club two weeks.
We still haven't agreed a fee with Aston Villa for Sinclair so God knows where stories about medicals etc came from - probably Twitter.}

Football club CEO's work in different ways than us who are normal and not so normal .
My father was a cattle dealer and I remember him very openly arranging transport home for animals that he was trying to buy, yet his bid and the sellers asking price were miles apart . The seller seemed to be often distracted by the transport arrangement and deal could be complete .
I think Sinclair would have been bought long ago if it hadn't been for the ex Aberdonian using sheep sale tactics.

I'd have thought the best we could hope for with Chalobah would be a loan deal. He has been out on loan for tears but that is chelsea's policy. He is tipped for big things loan would be nice bit of business.

Bitton has been great in spells but nowhere near as consistent as wanyama. Different types of player too so hard to compare. Wanyama was more powerfull and bitton more skillfull but both efficient in their own ways. Can't see button going for the same doe tho.

{Ed007's Note - At least 8. A world class German LB in case KT gets injured, 2 new top EPL CBs at £17.5 million each because having 7 on the books isn't enough to beat Bayern Munich and PSG. We need to get in two new CMs costing £9 million and £6 million in case Brown gets injured or Armstrong is sold in January, a 'keeper that can defend his near post, a new No.10 in case Rogic gets injured and a 60 goal a season striker just in case Dembele and LG get injured. We should probably pus the boat out and get a new RW in as well so that we're prepared for Paddy going back to City next season but that'll be a push.

Lol ED, that would be magic. All kidding aside for me another striker as cover for Griffith's and dembele, definitely a solid center half due to the injury situation in that department and a new keeper would be fantastic but not holding my breath on the keeper lol.

Huge amount of positive messages flowing in showing appreciation and wishing the Scots and Irish peace and good luck in the next tie. Swansea were open to his return but that door has obviously closed. As I said at the time, Rodgers told someone (who could be seen as a candidate for the job too) that he was certain the CFC job was his and as far as I know nothing's changed their yet.
I would mention that we have contacted a club about the compensation involved in signing a player but as everybody knows CFC wouldn't possibly negotiate for a player while we don't have a manager so there's no point. It's not worth the hassle.}

I know everyone claims to know someone in the know but I was told at a meeting between lawell Rodgers and 2 others from Celtic board in London that Rodgers was very open from the start and told Celtic he wanted atleast £88g per week! Meeting lasted 40minutes and no job offer was discussed.

Lustig has also expressed concerns about continuing at RB. Not sure we'd move him to CB if Simunovic gets fit alongside Sviatchenko, so he could be away too.

Fletcher can actually play behind striker as well. I remember him at Hibs when he would play on the left sometimes and was excellent at linking up play.
I would take him if we could get him on the cheap as he won't have much sell on value. Saying that he really needs to stay fit but I reckon Ronnie is the man to manage his injuries well, as he has proven with Forrest and Rogic.

I don't understand if he's cheap take him logic. He is playing in a squad of expensive players. Does a job. I've not heard a full blooded "Get him signed" from anyone. Why be caucious about a player we know inside out? The bit better than what we have attitude won't improve the team. You need a new player to do more than that.

He's way better than Ciftci and Cole but the problem is we likely won't spend the money on a younger striker with more pedigree than Fletcher. So in terms of a back up to Griffiths, or alongside him I'd say he'd be a good signing who would without doubt improve the team.
