He would need a decent wedge to come which we probably can't commit to.
Give him 4 million bonus for qualifying for CL. Put Celtic back on the map . Shirt sales would sky rocket .
Understand it might cause friction in the dress room, but that's Brendan's job to paint the bigger picture of him coming in .

So plenty leaving but as of yet nobody in. Anything on the horizon or is it shaping up to be one of those summers where we are left skanting until the last week.

I'm glad we are having a much needed clear-out first, as the squad is currently too big and unbalanced, with a good few that are not good enough for Celtic and one or two who have hung around under three or four managers.
It will free-up cash to hopefully add the quality we need.

Boabie we're not even in June yet bud! Lol. brendans only been in the job just over a week! He'll be looking at the squad and how he can get rid of the deadwood first, the squad is massive and IMO needs cut by at least 8 players! Ambrose Forrest ciftci scepovic SJ Cole CKR and possibly commons (even though I'm a big fan) . stokes and maybe Scott Allan to, Then look to add 3 maybe 4 quality signings! Also get rogic tied down on a new deal! The big man is a quality player.

If we keep a decent rump of players after shedding dead wood, I'd reckon we need no more than 5 signings. ST RB and RCB essential. LW, Another Central Defender desirable. Would hope at least 2 of those positions signed within next 2 weeks. Interesting times though, waiting optimistically.

IT seems that our season ticket renewals are going very well. Hope that we finish with at least 45,000 season books sold and that we have a good match day attendance from our season book holders plus plenty of day trippers all going to support Celtic . That the practically full Celtic Park are loud in their support of the team . If we generate big support at every game I have no doubt the players will pay us back in full.
Confidence all round will win the day.

With a packed out stadium I feel we will see everyone of the current crop step there game up.

What do you think 15mil would get us next transfer window? i'm assuming if that's the amount keane will be given, if someone else gets the job, theyd get similar?
Id imagine there's a few decent players out of contract that could be persuaded by the right manager. But its getting a manager that can attract decent players, that's the worrying bit.

There's always a chance we may cash-in on Bitton, Johansen or Rogic (or all three) as well as freeing- up cash by releasing the deadwood and 'rejects'.
I would welcome a clear out at the club as a lot of this squad have been there too long and become stale or ineffective under both RD and NL.

It could get us a lot if used in the right markets. Players like El Younoussi and Mocinic and other players in Scandanavia and Eastern Europe would cost 2-3mil tops. There's loads of good players in these leagues, I just hope our scouts have been looking there!

Johansen wasnt great this season but was no bad previously. Bitton aye, plenty who can step up. Would keep stokes but commons, no. Get him away and rogic if he wants to go.

Due to a combination of a poor season by his own standards, and the things behind the scenes, I think it may be best to cash in on Johansen. I won't be at all surprised to see him go to a good club in league a lot better than ours. I'd put Johansens fee and wages onto a contract for Vilhena from Feyenoord who I think is a free agent in the summer.

Not at all surprised that john collins has been outed as trouble. He was an over bearing fool at hibs and thinks because he played in france he knows coaching better than anyone. he's a festering mould within the club. Jk only there for sympathy. Lawell is a disgrace but we know he won't walk away this year. Probably sell on alot, make a tidy amount on biton, keep ambrosr and sign a ton of midfielders before appointing malky f-in mackay with about 3 days left on the transfer window whilst letting broony.

I don't know how football clubs are run, but if indeed John Collins is this major disruption then why would Cfc not just get rid . The simple explanation for John Collins is that he's simply not good enough to coach or motivate players . Nothing sinister but just pure lack of coaching ability tactically and man to man.

Neil Lennon - hardly set the heather alight in his last season
Malky Mackay - apart from a brief spell of success at cardiff and getting caught out being a tool, hasn't really shown much.
Moyes - will need a big blank cheque to take advantage of any "contacts" he's made in england. Sure he never had a lot to spend compared to others in that league but anyone coming here from england will cost alot.
Lambert - still hasn't mastered the english language
Stubbs - not yet
Larsson - isn't interested
Paul Hartley - another deila in the making.
Roy Keane - no! Terrible attitude issues and did nothing of any worthwhile at ipswich and sunderland.

I find it amazing that everyone only sees the bad things Roy Keane has done and conviently forget about actually what he did do . Took a team from bottom of championship and actually won the league . Then kept them in league . Sure he made some bad transfer decisions but which manager in the epl hasn't . He done a fantastic job at Sunderland . Ipswich I don't know the ins and outs but yes that went wrong .
I really think Keane deserves a chance and he would be my choice.

Big hughes as assistant but feel he will be on demand as a manager and rightly so. Had we not got rodgers, i'd have taken hughes before all the rest. One day its his job.
