On mccarthy coming in for next season. actually heard from a guy in work he's desperate to move back up the road, don't know how true that is, but just think with over 3 years left on his deal and the money they bought him for that any permanent deal will be difficult to say the least! Hope I'm wrong but because I like him as a player! Just think he might be a bit out of our reach!

Nobody could be surprised that Barcelona beat us with ease. Probably anyone of their players would cost more than our entire first eleven and probably most of their players are earning more individually than our whole team . One of them didn't even pay his tax but that's another story .

Ed 007 inesta coming on and Celtic players tiring and at the same time Barcelona players revelled in the space and unusual for most teams they didn't lift the foot and show- boat when 4/ 5 up. It could have been ten, but it shows where we are .

Don't think there's any chance at all of paddy staying with us! He's said himself that he wants to go back down, and even if he did want to stay we wouldn't pay the fee Man City would be looking for! And IMO he ain't worth 10 million plus! Good wee player but not at that price! And to be fair he's hardly had a sniff this season! Sinclair and Forrest are BR first picks. so for me as much as I like him I just don't think there's any chance he'll be in the hoops next season!

Might just be me but I really don't get why some fans want Patterson brought in! The guy is average at best! I've seen nothing from him to say he would be a good addition! We need to aim for better than that IMO!

McCourt from what I heard was fond of a refreshment or 2! And his time on the training field was poor to say the least! While no doubting he was a magnificent talent and he gave us some magic moments he wasn't cut out to be a regular first team player for a club like Celtic! It was nothing to do with the managers he had! And I had heard about his wife's condition, I wish her and the family all the best.

It's actually staggering that these clowns at UEFA have charged us less than 24 hours after the game finished! They definitely look like they've got it in for our club by the way!

Don't understand the let players go on the cheap and getting top dollar for players! Any player that leaves our club for 10 million or over we're doing well! We've got to remember what league we're playing in lads!
Think Lawell has done great getting the money he has for VVD, wanyama and forrester! If anybody thinks we're going to sell our players regularly for £20 million plus then they're living in a fantasy!
Yes dembele mite be the exception but it won't be a regular thing. if Lawell keeps his nose out of football matters then I don't think we could do any better in his position.
