Kamil wilzcek from brondby in talks with celtic fee wouldn't be very high, also seen assaidi was speaking to dutch journalists saying he may be reunited with an old manager it could be rodgers.

{Ed007's Note - I doubt Assaidi would be interested in working with Rodgers after the promises the manager made him and then broke whilst at Liverpool.}

{Ed007's Note - He got Brendaned as they called it - he promised him he would get game time etc and went back on his promises. He's had a pop at Rodgers a couple of times since then about how unfairly he was treated and how he made the wrong decision joining Liverpoo.}

Do you know if it was BR that Dembele was having a dig at when he tweeted about promises? I do think we'll spend money in January but BR signings haven't been great. Has Congerton left now?

{Ed007's Note - There were rumours on social media last week that Congerton had left, there was a meeting between Lawwell, Rodgers and Congerton but it looks like it was just plans for January.
I initially thought that Dembele was getting at Lawwell with that Tweet and hoped that Rodgers had learnt his lesson but from what Rodgers said at the time and what I've heard since I've honestly no idea who it was aimed at.
The only person to blame for the Dembele situation was Dembele, it was him that broke promises he consistently made to Rodgers' face that he would stay another year and then spat the dummy with only hours left in the window.}

I agree with you on the Dembele situation Ed. Lawwell's name is muck again due to us only having one striker but in my opinion he backed BR on Dembele and only moved him on when he had become a disruption to the rest of the squad. Perhaps a replacement could have been sourced but you'd have been doing well at that time to get one over the line.

{Ed007's Note - And we'd have been going back down the Kazim-Richards or Carlton Cole road at that time of the window. Can you imagine the reaction if we had replaced Dembele with some over the hill Pub League striker?
