Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Juranovic is expected to leave us this summer. Hope this doesn't happen.

He was mostly good. Had a few great games but also a couple of stinkers. I'd bite EPLs hand off for 25m and give most of it to Ange.

2.) 20 Jun 2022 21:05:02
Romano is never far away unfortunately. If he's to move to a higher level we should be able to do a quick turn and i'm sure Mark Lawwell will have a list of replacements as long as his arm.

3.) 20 Jun 2022 21:14:49
Well if true the club hold all the aces, he must have 3 years left so we hold out for a huge fee or he's told to get on with it.

Who. tgere was general concern which was warrented. and brendan deserves great creddit for his tactics and subs.

2.) 03 Sep 2023 15:01:52
Awk away and bile your heid! Sure some have been upset with recent prefomances but i guarentee you every celtic fan is happy today.

3.) 03 Sep 2023 15:30:08
Name one.

4.) 03 Sep 2023 16:33:32
I was nervous before the match because we had been poor this season, had key players out, lots of players under performing, untested CB psiring and match was at Ibrox with none of our fans.

However, was delighted to see our Bhoys deliver for us.

What kind of football did we all expect when Brendan Rodgers was appointed?

Mark76

1.) 20 Aug 2023 18:01:48
A worrying statistic is Celtic failed to score in 13 out of Brendan’s last 48 league games, before he left in February 2019.
The poor record started with our 4-0 defeat at Hearts to stop our 69 domestic game unbeaten run.

Angeball only failed to score Twice in his last 48 league games in charge of Celtic.

2.) 20 Aug 2023 18:03:07
Pass the parcel its bloody torture to watch, side to side let the opponent set up behind the ball without any direct play, let your killer striker drop away from what he does best, finish! Arrogance of leadership will cost us if he thinks we should play like that week in week out, that team playing ange ball destroys kilmarnock, no desire in the middle of the park to show for the ball.

However you can't take it away from kilmarnock they were excellent today chucked everything at us and won!

3.) 20 Aug 2023 20:29:59
Rodgers jumped ship at the right time. I said back then had he stayed we would've lost the league as he got found out and we wasn't scoring and scraping results. Teams park the bus and we have no idea how to break them down. I know it's only 3 games in but it looks like we're back in that same boat. Teams been all over the place considering there has only been a few "tactical tweaks" our midfield has been bullied in every game. Kilmarnock are absolutely gash, dinosaur tactics and a gameplan you'd see in the UFC. Embarrassing result and performance. Muir and VAR didn't help either how did Armstrong not get sent off for that elbow? And to rub salt in the wounds he pops up with the assist moments later in the space vacated by Taylor as he's off getting treatment and the goal looked offside as well!

4.) 20 Aug 2023 20:58:12
Angeball to Snoozeball.

We honestly don't know how lucky we are especially those Gen Z's. Would love to see us compete in Europe again tho and I genuinely think Ange could be the man to take us there it just came a little too early in his tenure this year.

If you offered me a 3 point lead with 11 games left and a league cup win in September, I would've bit your hand off. Some of our support need a reality check. League over everything its a rebuild not a finished article.

Mark,
I was fearing the worse during the summer and I didn’t want the season to start.
I was expecting a flashback to the 1990s with unrest and turmoil towards the board this season.
The fans had a couple of protests at the start of the season.
But it all changed when Celtic had those 5 home matches in a row in August and Ange had Celtic playing some really awesome football.
I knew then that Celtic would challenge this season but more importantly that we had our club back and it wasn’t going to take years to compete again.
I understand PeeKay and Auf’s frustrations, along with other supporters but Ange is only in the door and he got a respectable 9 points in a tough group. ( which was more points than other clubs that qualified)
Ange also beat the top unseeded club AZ Alkmaar to reach the Europa league in the first place.
Ange is being overly criticised for our recent European record and he’s only in the door 8 months.

2.) 26 Feb 2022 13:37:25
Yes, I was fearing the worst in the summer as well and I thought it would be 2/ 3 years until we were winning trophies again.

3.) 26 Feb 2022 14:05:27
Agree with you both on the respective points you've made ?.

Given the state of the first team squad awaiting Ange when he showed up at Lennoxtown last summer, the turnaround has been very impressive.

I also fully appreciate we don't play in La Liga or Serie A, but, there was still a big job to do in order to get us playing with any form of identity, then to compete and win games.

Would I question some of the starting line ups or substitutions during games, Yes. Am I happy at the performances over two legs against Bodo, No.

Importantly, I think we're heading in the right direction with a;-
* 3 points lead at the top of the table
* first trophy of the season in the cabinet and
* a united squad of players who are getting results but have also played some very good football.

Have we all forgotten the cluster f$@k of last season under Lennon?

Do I trust and support Ange - 100%.

☘️ ☘️ ☘️.

4.) 26 Feb 2022 14:18:58
The shambles that Ange inherited and the fact he was swiftly ushered to Celtic Park in the rear of fast-black changing into his Celtic tie after the Howe-No fiasco makes it all the more remarkable.
Basically, whatever happens over the next 11 league games and Scottish Cup matches -even though there has been recent criticism and concerns - very few Celtic supporters could have predicted the transformation and progress achieved to put us in this position.

5.) 26 Feb 2022 14:25:57
Mark/ Buzz.

Celtic are like a town clock.

One face (Europe) has been knackered for years and only tells the correct time occasionally. It frustrates all who want to go on a journey.

The other (Domestically) has been (last year apart) the source of many a party and brought joy year after year.

This year, clock face one has done it's usual dirty tricks on us. But face two? Well so far face two has surpassed many of our expectations and the boys in Paradise have been awesome. So far they deserve every plaudit that comes their way. Just keep the eye on the prize boys.

6.) 26 Feb 2022 14:38:19
The as long as we beat the Zombies brigade out in force. Celtic got humiliated in Europe anyone accepting that is part of the problem.

7.) 26 Feb 2022 14:40:22
Thats cute, Stubbsie :)

8.) 26 Feb 2022 14:51:31
Auf - keep the faith ?

☘️ ☘️ ☘️.

9.) 26 Feb 2022 17:48:25
I actually think Bodos style and tactics would be perfect for us in Europe. They pressed from the front, attacked and defended as a unit. They kept their width really well too in defence and attack. I hope he takes that setup on board and tries it out as it could be a good for us in tricky away games.

20 Dec 2021 10:32:53
I think Celtic need to sign at least 3 hamstrings in the next transfer window.

Mark76

1.) 20 Dec 2021 10:55:03
Ha Ha at least 3 Mark.
Ange is blaming Celtic playing 6 games in 17 days for our latest injury.
Celtic will play 9 games in December and compare that to Aberdeen who will only play 6 games in December.

2.) 20 Dec 2021 12:43:53
That's a lot of games buzz even for professional athletes, let's hope we can get some reinforcements in early in the window.

The report (if you choose to believe it) says Hatate knocked back the 1st offer although he is still open to negotiations. So think you need to chill out a bit about getting rid of him.

Joe is like having another captain on the field, organising the back line and not scared to tell players when they have made a mistake. One of our best signings last year.
