Didn’t watch the game today but by all accounts what I’ve been told is that it wasn’t great.
Maybe to be expected given the line up but from reading on here you’d think the players where playing against top quality opposition and not a rank rotten lower league squad.
I will personally only judge Ange and the players when it matters against the Danes.

What I’ve heard is that it wasn’t great
On here it’s the complete opposite.

On here certain players are named as being really good and it was a good game?
So clearly either people are being too harsh or people on here are being too kind

Wow the lack of support from some of our support is staggering! Lennon wouldn't give youth a chance and was slaughtered for it, big ange gives youth a chance in a pre season friendly and someone is on here slagging the performance, in a game we won by the way! Do these folk genuinely support the club or just come on here to slag us? Sevco pages for that.

Plenty of positives to take out of it from what I heard. Practically the youth team beating Sheffield Wednesday who started with pretty much their full team. Makes it all the sweeter when one of their fans was calling us a tin pot team from the dog and duck league after we signed Urhoghide. Made sure to remind him that they just lost to our academy boys from said dog and duck leagueðŸ˜.

I actually enjoyed that game. Good to see young players with hunger out there. Especially the winger Montgomery, did a lot of work even after scoring his goal. Going down so early to a goal wasn't ideal but they soon took control.

Think some of you so called supporters are spoiled, a statement like I never seen the game today but heard it wasn’t good! that typified Celtic supporters of the golden years, where did you hear it wasn’t good we had a team of youngsters up against first team players of Sheffield Wednesday ok not Real Madrid these games are purposefully selected to get game time into players legs I for one was quite happy with the performance today and I’m looking forward to the season ahead total clean slate players who don’t want to be here bye bye there’s no bigger player than the club

A never seen the game due to work but a think it's great that ange is playin youth seeing what talent is in there, gives me hope that he's willing to give youths a chance that's what we should have been doing years ago and if you can't play youths in friendlies what chance have they got during the season for a chance. seen pic of ajeti looks to have shed some pounds hopefully getting all our players fitter. Hope he ange gets given time to transform us.

Wait a minute you never seen it so shhhhh, go and watch it then judge as it was the our young lads who played first two parts. The game was very attacking and actually not to bad.

Watch a good bit of the game and it was great to see some of the young lads get a good run out. Was impressed with Shaw and especially young Owen Moffat. The young lad ran his socks off and what a finish. Really like monty at LB. The guy looks to have something about him. Looking forward to see them play a bit more over this pre season camp. Great start to build on for ange.

This might be me being cynical but I wonder if Celtic are dragging their heels until all the season books are sold to then announce Gordon Strachan as DOF with Kennedy as boss.
{Ed007's Note - Dundee have just been promoted so I can't see Gordon Strachan leaving a job he describes as "a labour of love" at to be involved with Celtic at his age.}

My mates a dundee fan and he's was raging at Strachan being on Celtic TV when Dundee where playing and also when in the playoffs. I found it to be weird my self.

These comments about announcing Howe now but start next season are signs of how worried our fans have become due to the unbelievable state our club is in.
Get him in now and have him start immediately on what his own day to day requirements are for Celtic going forward. Give him at least 7 games against the best that Scottish football has to offer so he knows exactly what’s needed to wrestle back the league title.
If we lose both games to Rangers then so be it. We couldn’t beat them after they had a tough European game and where very leggy looking and still they came on strong towards the end.
Get him working with the players and who knows maybe some will want to stay now, maybe some young players will be given a proper chance to play games and some might actually show some effort again.

Maybe howe himself doesn't want to come into the mess that is there right now. If he did and celtic lost the 2 Derby games and had a few poor performances he would be on the back foot straight away. Think he might want a clean start. Only my opinion.

Hopefully this is the start of a good long positive run, players played well and took the foot of the gas second half which I can’t complain about - lots of games ahead and hopefully more trophies ðŸ†.
