Lawell says one more before the window shuts, pretty sure I read BR wants a no10.
Do we think celtic may pull something from left field? Dembele n Roberts were pretty random, I've got a feeling something unexpected is planned.

One more signing will make little difference, considering the glaring deficiencies in the squad that was left for the new manager.
There were no stand-outs in Israel and although most of that team can play much better, we are still well below the quality of most of the teams in the CL and now that we have the money in the bank, we should use some of it wisely to give the support a decent Celtic team.

With the money that'll be coming in due to the champions league i'll be a bit disappointed if only 1 more signing is made. I know we've brought toure, dembele and Sinclair in but with the season ticket sales, champ league money, tv money and so on i'd like to see the board really back BR to the hilt, strengthen further just now and if nothing else it'll bed these players in for next year. We're definitely a team that's needing more than just one more signing.

One more in this window, then hopefully by January we have shifted some of the surplus players in the squad to make room for better quality. Even if we signed 4 more we wouldn't compete against top European sides this year. We need to make strides over the next 3 windows buying quality when it's available, not just making the same mistakes as previous years and buying for the sake of buying. Rodgers spoke of 2 more just before we signed de vries, that leaves 1 more signing.

Your right Wayne, even if we signed 3/ 4 5 million pound signings it wouldn't make a difference against yer barcelona or man city BUT as in a BR team going forward it'd make a huge difference as long as its quality signings and not has been Ronnys style and bringing in quantity. I fully understand that the squad needs trimmed big time and I do believe there easily 4/ 5/ 6 players still to be shipped out ( starting with johansen this morning looking like going to Fulham) but I feel we can achieve both at the same time. If we can get johansen, ambrose, GMS, commons and a few more out the door and off the wage bill and buy at least 2 players of the quality that BR has already brought in then for me it'll make a huge difference to where BR wants his team to be heading.

Are fans happy with the loan route we appear to be going down, rather than permanent deals? Aquino looks good but back to square one next summer
1.) Ronny has a good record with loan signings from his old team so let's trust his judgment! Loans aren't for me personally but if Ronny thinks he can possibly get a better loan player than one he has a budget for well we will see!
2.) We haven't made any loan moves, just a few rumours .
Even if we do have a loan or two in, it doesn't mean that we are necessary going down that route . Ronnie is just in the door and if the only way he can get the type of playe he wants is by loan . Then that is the way to go for this window .

Pretty sure BR is quoted as saying he feels we needed a no10 type as we need bit more creativity. That for me says marquee as these types are exciting n tend to cost, the club doesn't need to say the word but I read into what the manager wanted n I doubt BR would accept a 3rd rate player in the role after having coutinho etc under his stewardship, he knows a no10.

Have to laugh at 'warchest' next year comment. We've been here many times in the past, post Wanyama, hooper sale n CL last 16 cash we spent hee haw n the chat then was 'warchests' for next year, we work season to season n have for past 5-6 seasons. Toure will go next year as will Roberts n it's back to square one there, dembele for me is still raw n who knows if he'll come good, bit of a gamble. Sinclair is a class act and the type of business I expected more of. Still looking fwd to the season ahead but a few more of the pedigree of sinclair is what I was hoping for.

Was Gordon that bad? Pretty sure he saved a PK, which would've seen us out, claimed pretty much every cross n made a few decent, but not spectacular saves. Bar a f*** up from janko he done well. Every fan is entitled to an opinion but celtic fans are maybe the harshest in the game. Broony n James forrest anyone?

Fletcher would do the business for us n Graham had bit of a rough time at Sunderland but was decent at Swansea and Watford. I think they 2 in for stokes, Cole, richards n sceptic is a step fwd. Snodgrass n I wouldn't mind caulker from QPR, n we'd qualify for Co n win league IMO.

2 home games I've been to Armstrong has been superb, never wastes a ball he's positive n links up well. Wide men don't always have to be full of tricks n pace. Young guy who'll only get better and think we have a star in the making. He's 2 goals where great. GMS on the other hand is like forrest and fraser, where there on it there unplayable when there not they offer little, you'll get a solid 7 every game from Armstrong

Celtic fans are getting more like them over in the south side, we used to send players off with our best wishes n support them but now we turn on them on an I instant n actually think they are deliberately under performing. Thought forrest was good against the imps, get his fitness n head right n we have a player if not thanks for trying. Look at petta n big Sammy beforehand, the big man became vital after he turned it around, sure there's a few on here who booed him then lauded him. I for one will support anyone in the hoops n if your not up to it then fine but the treatment of some of our current squad by our fans is shocking. Big year for us n the standard og players we have v the expectations we put on them will only respond to support not criticism.
