Edd07, you are in no way too intelligent to speak to me or any other person on the planet. Before I start I would point out you have actioned this retort by your childish put down. I my friend am a very successful business owner that employs over 40 workers, I could buy and sell you any day of the week. Happy to compare bank accounts any time you like.

Hunskelper

{Ed007's Note - What kind of pathetic piece of shit brings something like that into an argument on the internet over football. Just so you know though, the day I was born I had more money than you and your 40 workers will earn in your lifetimes. I could buy your house on one of my credit cards. It's tough at the top pal, but you'll never know that.
It's a pity your dad wasn't as much of a wanker as you, you'd have been better ending up in a tissue paper or dribbling down your mother's chin.}

Edd07 I will check into it more and reply honestly, however I'm still convinced you have it wrong. I'm not saying the guy is brilliant he is far from it, however Sevco schooled us for most of the match... Why was that? We have better players in every position, however the bread man worked out his tactics and it produced a win. All I was trying to point out was that in my opinion he is a decent manager who achieved his target for the season, do you think we have achieved our targets? Of course we have not! Ultimately loosing to Sevco has helped bring around change at Celtic, fingers crossed it will be for the better!

{Ed007's Note - Check what you want but don't waste your time replying back to me about anything. Take it up with Brentford owner Matt Benham who told Warburton and Weir in February that their contracts would not be renewed.
I'm far too intelligent to converse with anyone who uses the term 'the bread man' when talking about someone.}

His contract was not renewed as he refused to work under a director of football and a transfer commitee.

Hunskelper

{Ed007's Note - The club announced months before that his contract wouldn't be renewed, that sounds like the club made that decision to me. The club didn't renew his contract - why can't you understand that?}

Sorry Edd07, he was not sacked at Brentford he refused to work under a director of football for the upcoming season, that's why he left. Prior to the announcement Brentford were in contention for promotion, the announcement that he would not continue as manager the following season de railed the promotion bid.

Hunskelper

{Ed007's Note - No he was sacked, it's well known in England.

http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/football-league/brentford-refuse-to-back-manager-mark-warburton-beyond-the-end-of-the-season-after-reports-linking-10035852.html

'Warburton, who is on a rolling 12-month contract, will not have his deal renewed at the end of the campaign.'

http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/rangers-announce-mark-warburton-new-5883357

'However, they were told in February their contracts would not be renewed by owner Matt Benham'

http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11748/9719232/mark-warburton-will-leave-his-post-as-brentford-manager-at-the-end-of-the-season

'However, it was reported last week that Brentford were not planning to renew Warburton's rolling contract at the end of the season and, although the club issued a statement supporting the manager, it did not deny the reports.'

All the reports from that time say the same thing, Brentford not renewing his contract = sacked. That should cover that then eh?
So the owner telling them their contract wasn't being renewed was actually him refusing to work under a DOF? LMFAO, that's a belter.
I suppose Frank McParland put himself on gardening leave and that was nothing to do Brentford either.}

Don't kid yourself Ed007, Rangers have a decent manager at the moment. No personality but can get average players to play as a team. I am going to be optimistic and say that the board will bring in a decent name and provide more funds than usual.

Hunskelper

{Ed007's Note - No they don't, they have a 53 year old failure that has been sacked from his first job in lower league football and has had one season in the Scottish 2nd Division. Warburton is older than John Hughes, 10 years older than Derek McInnes and 18 (EIGHTEEN) years older than Robbie Neilson.
So sacked from Brentford and a season in the Scottish lower leagues makes you a decent manager these days, you don't even need to have managed in the top league now to be lauded. All those clubs in England and not one single interest in taking the inexperienced Warburton on after he was sacked from Brentford.
Warburton has done nothing of any note and most likely never will, he built a myth around him at Brentford that the owner quickly seen through.
Our board don't need to provide more funds, they just need to spend the money more wisely, the league is already a formality while Future England Manager Mark Warburton will see a top 6 finish as a major success.
If Warburton is a decent manager tell me what he's done to make you think that.}
