Apparently there is a very good chance Guidetti will be going to Southampton as Ronald Koeman is a massive fan of his as he managed him when he had his terrific spell on loan at Feyenoord if this is true we will never be able to compete with the wages on offer and of course the beast that is the Premiership.

FrannyBhoy

1.) Cant see it, spent big on Pelle, Mane & Long - why have a 4th player that would want to be first pick?

2.) Money would be the reason why! PL is trying to get our wages maxing out at 15k and that's why we lost Ledley and why we are probably going to loose commons through being too tight fisted and lowering our ambition! I hope guidetti stays, one of the best strikers in the world gave us his prime years so hopefully guidetti feels at home like our super swede hero!

3.) Because he's quality Kev that's why. There shouldn't be too many clubs not looking at him as a good value opportunity. We need to act. The thread below AH is mentioning our inability signing strikers - well we know how good this one is because he's in the hoops! If we don't sign him, and I find out it's because we refused to pay him the going rate, all faith in our transfer policy will have been lost. As it is clearly not towards the benefit of the team. We're a football club, not a pharmaceutical, chemical or energy company Peter!

4.) They still have jay rodriguez 2 come back from injury aswel so can't them going for guidetti tbh

5.) Southampton looking to spend big money on boy from Palermo, I agree way Jim the wage structure at celtic becoming a joke we letting quality players slip away I don't think we keep guidetti & it pains me to say that but also think we lose brown because I don't think he will get offered same wages he on just now, the board are becoming a joke pains me a say it also but the gap between us & them no as big as everyone thinks & again the boards penny pinching has had a lot to do with that Liewell said before end of last season we could spend at least 4 million on 1 player if he wanted then says he won't put the club into financial difficulties by paying to much money, fair enough but make your make your mind up because it making us look a laughing stock, tbh aswell I hope Desmond going to get finger out cause if fat Ashley going put money into them for transfers I would be concerned cause he worth more than Dermot.

6.) Wouldn't worry too much about situation. Sounds like media stirring again. One way to look at it, if koeman rates guidetti as highly as reported surely he would of been signed for southampton for nominal development fee in August?

I would be surprised if PL did not get Guidetti tied down on permanent deal. Represents value for money.

Just wondering do you think Lawwell will up the cost of our season tickets for this upcoming season?

We no longer have the Brendan Rodgers salary we have just received 9 million in compensation for the management team and a list of players as long as your arm leaving the club again slashing the wage bill or will he just shaft the fans as usual?

FrannyBhoy

1.) 18 Mar 2019 08:10:14
You do know that there are other people behind the scenes than just lawwel eh?
Do people on here think he makes every decision at Celtic?

2.) 18 Mar 2019 12:24:04
Ok Lawwell and the board in my opinion do shaft the fans and shareholders alike here is just a few examples.

So far, under his stewardship.

He has failed to stand up for the business, when it was cheated out of millions over a decade by the previous Ibrox entity with SFA collusion.

He and the board have failed to stand up for employees, when they are kicked all around the pitch.

He and the board have failed to protect the support, still no report on the Janefield underpass crush.

He and the board have failed to protect the interest of shareholders, when he was handed evidence of collusion re Resolution 12

He has failed to support the club managers, by not following up transfer targets, let alone bringing them in. In fact, if he doesnโ€™t like them, we donโ€™t sign them.

I could go on so yes i do believe Lawwell and the board shaft the fans.

3.) 18 Mar 2019 16:13:12
Stuffs shareholder?
He's turned the club into a profit making buisness. Shares are around the highest they've ever been.
๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚.

4.) 18 Mar 2019 16:15:30
Oh and under his stewardship we've also been the most successful we've been since the 60s. But we will sweep that aside eh.

5.) 18 Mar 2019 16:58:20
It's got to the stage now Kev, some fans whether watching on telly or at the game aren't happy unless we rattle in 4 or 5 without reply. Maybe it's the younger generation who have only known us being successful and take it for granted we should win convincingly every week. I for one enjoy every victory, don't get carried away when we knock in 5 or 6 and don't overreact when we scrape a win. Maybe some need to be transported back to the 90's to realise just how good things are right now.

6.) 18 Mar 2019 17:06:52
Hilarous mate love your total contradiction so I will quote your first reply โ€œ You do know that there are other people behind the scenes than just Lawwell eh? Do people on here think he makes every decision at Celtic โ€œ

But now your latest posts state that โ€œ Heโ€™s turned the club into a profit making business. Shares are around the highest they have ever been. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚โ€ and โ€œ Oh and under his stewardship weโ€™ve also been the most successful weโ€™ve been since the 60s. But we will sweep that asideโ€

So In your opinion our Peter is solely responsible for all the good points you have mentioned but itโ€™s all the other people behind the scenes for all the crap.

Absolutely Brilliant ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚.

7.) 18 Mar 2019 18:15:00
No he is not solely responsible for ANYTHING in our club.
Our club is the most professionally run clubs in the country and one of the most professionally run in UK and beyond.
Lawwel is CEO and is the business leader of the club but he does answer to a board of directors, who in turn answer to the SHAREHOLDERS. If he was SHAFTING the shareholders he wouldn't in the job easy as that.
Both on and off the park our club is highly successful.

Lawwel gets things wrong I'd admit that. Manly when he steps out of the business into the football side but in a whole he, the board and every department doing a great job.

8.) 18 Mar 2019 18:16:30
P/ s it was YOU that first used the words under his stewardship. But again we will just put that a side to suit your argument.

Never mind Hendry he is bad enough but Lustig is done he should never play for Celtic again I watched him in the Rosenburg game he never got forward he never beat a man he never got a cross in all he did was pass the ball to Boyata or have a running argument with the north stand purely because he can't cut it anymore.

FrannyBhoy

1.) 26 Sep 2018 18:46:53
Franny he's a defender and against Rosenberg he defended well.

2.) 27 Sep 2018 09:15:14
Kev.

Unfortunately he is not very good at defending either ok he might have defended reasonably well against Rosenberg but check out most of the other games he has played this season he very rarely defends the crosses coming into our box we have lost a load of goals with his inability to carry out this basic art of defending.

I have always liked Lustig and I hate digging any Celtic player out but I have to be honest and say his time is up at Celtic in my opinion.

Inexcusable heartless dire performance.

We can moan all we want but Hearts deserved the win I'm afraid this is the way it's going to be all season a lot of this team just aren't good enough and when Broony is clearly struggling the full team struggles.

Ps. Naismith is a horrible cheating nasty excuse of a footballer.

1.) 21 Apr 2017 15:36:16

2.) 21 Apr 2017 17:09:08
Went a couple year back. There's a few Irish bars around la ramblas and the marina which may have it on. There's also michael collins bar near sagrada familia which definitely shows celtic games.

3.) 21 Apr 2017 17:14:50
Last time I was there for game had a good session in the Michael Collins bar.

4.) 21 Apr 2017 17:30:35

5.) 21 Apr 2017 18:59:04

6.) 21 Apr 2017 22:50:57
There's a place not far from Barcelona called callela there is a pub there called the white horse that shows games. Not a celtic pub but they'll have it if u ask n their friendly as fook.

7.) 22 Apr 2017 09:35:32
the white horse? a celtic pub? it sounds dodgy steph, as long as there's not a wee effeminate dutchman on the white horse it might be okay lol.
