22 million in the door if we qualify tonight, not including any tickets we sell for the games or extra we pick up for draws and wins in the Group stage. Surely some of this would go on a player? Even Roberts on a permanent would keep me happy.

Any plans for us to go in for Callum Paterson? I see Wigan have had a bid rejected and having watched Janko coming on n get bullied easily yet again I think it might not be a bad idea.

Ad have him over Janko ever time.

2.) 18 Aug 2016 21:10:15
Janko has several good attributes, young yet will probably be better than Patterson.

3.) 18 Aug 2016 21:24:25
I think Paterson looks the part and thought oor Saidy looked the weak link in the chain last night.

4.) 18 Aug 2016 21:47:28
Paterson is young himself and is very versatile.

5.) 18 Aug 2016 22:04:53
Thought janko done actually no bad when he came on last night.

6.) 18 Aug 2016 22:13:00
Is Gunter still available?

7.) 18 Aug 2016 23:21:45
I just think that with Lustigs record of injuries and being regularly subbed 60-70 mins every game I'd be more comfy with Paterson than Janko. Can see Janko tries his best but every pass seems to be slightly off and as I said before he was just bouncing off that guy on the left for Be'er Sheva when he came on.

8.) 19 Aug 2016 21:24:13
I remember people on here singing the praises of the Dundee Utd pair GMS and Armstrong . Now it's been spoken that it was sheer stupidity signing them, surely Patterson will turn out similar.

Ayling from Bristol city? Very good right back but dunno if he's needed.

DG1888

1.) 10 Aug 2016 15:35:15
Janko and Lustig have both started well so it's hard to see where the need is for him.

2.) 10 Aug 2016 16:20:01
lustig to CB?

3.) 10 Aug 2016 16:24:39
Got a mate living in Bristol and has a few Bristol city mates who attend a lot of games, well he has informed me that the Ayling guy is worse than club legends like Paul Telfer, Mo Camara, & Danny fox! So I highly doubt any truth in this one Bhoys.

4.) 10 Aug 2016 18:25:38
In a few weeks time we will have quality centre halves all over the place . I don't think there is any managerial desire to play Lustig at centre back as neither Ronnie or Brendan have done it much.

Yeah it's just unfortunate both us and city need the 3 days between games and neither can be played late for obvious reasons. Those suggesting the Manchester derby could be play at half 5 are mad. Might not be as heated as our game but they start drinking early just as we do.

I'd feel more comfy with DDV a man Rodgers knows and trusts than Gordon.

Judging DDV after one game is a little unfair. Gordon has been suspect for a while now.
