Seems Musonda is away going by his instagram and a member of his family. Waste of money and a talent if true.

1.) 06 May 2018 09:19:42
good player - but guess we didn't really need him!

2.) 06 May 2018 10:07:23
That one had disaster wrote all over it before he kick a ball for us .

3.) 06 May 2018 11:15:39
I don’t know anybody who didn’t think it was an excellent move.

4.) 06 May 2018 17:53:40
He’s hurt his shoulder and is going back to Chelsea for a checkup.

{Ed007's Note - I messaged Ed002 earlier on to ask if Musonda had been recalled:

"I am not aware of that being happening at this point. At the end of the season then it is likely if the clubs agree. I understand that the player did speak with TAF [Tore Andre Flo] a few weeks ago and TAF spoke with Rodgers - I assume it was about the lack of game time but I don't know. Celtic has paid for 18 months but Chelsea will find somewhere else to send him if it isn't working out."

5.) 06 May 2018 22:28:19
What a disappointing let down, the hype signing of us been selected out of 24 clubs. we need to continue with dignity and face value here? Not getting into the Sevco dishonesty mode 🧟‍♀️🧟‍♂️.

{Ed007's Note - What?}

6.) 07 May 2018 10:19:59
And can i just add 'the feck'.

24 Apr 2018 00:49:00
Hi Ed do you reckon Roberts will move on from City in the summer and if so do you think we could be a likely destination?

{Ed007's Note - Roberts won't be playing for City next season and whether it's another loan or a permanent deal Celtic will try to sign him.}

1.) 24 Apr 2018 15:43:46
Suppose a lot will come down to what Paddy wants to do.

2.) 24 Apr 2018 18:18:57
If we want to keep Roberts i think we want Fulham to not get promoted, id worry he could be tempted back to his old club.

3.) 26 Apr 2018 07:31:15
Good morning Ed. Is there any truth in the Gerrard rumour becoming the new huns manager?

{Ed007's Note - I'd love to see it happening but there's nothing in it as far as I know. Appointing a youth team coach hasn't worked out for them with Murty so I doubt they would make the same mistake again. In saying that, it is just one hilarious blunder after another over there so fingers crossed they might just do it.}

4.) 26 Apr 2018 17:46:21
He'd be better off in their midfield.

5.) 29 Apr 2018 04:02:51
The sensible huns don't mind the idea they want a player manager role for him. The media side of it has been priceless. The dr/ Sun sports desk wall must be a crowded collage of yellow postit notes thumb tacks and red string.

6.) 02 May 2018 21:34:09
If by chance Gerrard is gullible enough to take the Rangers2012 and deliver them 2nd in the league on a regular basis, it will be a kick in a sore place for the tens of thousands Irish Liverpool fans who still speak in hushed tongues of the great man Gerrrd was .

30 Mar 2018 12:48:58
Ed, seen KT is ruled out of tomorrow's game so do you think his injury could be more serious than first thought?

{Ed007's Note - No, he should be back next week.}

1.) 30 Mar 2018 13:26:02
We now have 3 games in the next week before the hun semi final, a perfect chance to give Griffiths, Musonda, Roberts, Tierney etc a run out to get some game time.

2.) 30 Mar 2018 15:32:56
Cheers Ed.

{Ed007's Note - You're welcome.}

3.) 31 Mar 2018 00:12:01
it won't do the wee man any harm getting a good rest before the business end of the season.

02 Mar 2018 15:00:06
Griffiths, Boyata and Armstrong all pictured training today.

1.) 02 Mar 2018 15:32:07
Griff looking like he’s enjoyed a few ales and the odd case of Tunnocks.

2.) 03 Mar 2018 00:12:55
Daviebhoy, you can be relied upon to make an unfounded stupid remark .
Griffiths knows if he was on the beer and having a bad diet Brendan Rodgers would have him out and away before the start of the grouse season.

3.) 03 Mar 2018 12:33:42
Aye, cheers for that Chris! He looks like he has put on a bit of timber, the operative word there being “looks” as it is my opinion and not put forward as fact. Unfounded and stupid comments? You keeping track then? The boy has form for bad lifestyle choices and looks like he’s put on weight. Don’t see how that is either unfounded or stupid.

4.) 05 Mar 2018 23:06:03
I don't disagree with about your comments about Griffiths lifestyle in the past .
You will recall that Brendan Rodgers has spoken publicly about problems with some parts of L G lifestyle, so I think LG wants to stay at Celtic and will behave in such away that B R won't find fault with LG.

23 Feb 2018 13:11:18
Ed any truth that Rogic has knocked back a new deal? Never even knew he was in talks.

{Ed007's Note - The plan was that he would be moved on this summer so I don't know if or why he's been in talks.}

1.) 23 Feb 2018 13:59:28
Any word on who his replacement would be?

{Ed007's Note - Musonda and McGregor.}

2.) 23 Feb 2018 14:43:45
Said it further up the page. He is no use to us. Spends most the season in the treatment room.

3.) 23 Feb 2018 16:13:29
Ed do think Christie will be in BRs plans for next season or will he be moved on in the summer? Wouldn’t mind seeing him play the Rogic role.

{Ed007's Note - I think he'll be brought back and given his chance.}

4.) 23 Feb 2018 16:47:50
Hope so because that bhoy definitely has something special.

5.) 23 Feb 2018 22:18:18
Odd that Rodgers has cake out and said he wants to keep Rogic here long term.

16 May 2018 20:19:40
You heard anything about Rogic signing a new long term deal Ed?

{Ed007's Note - No.}

1.) 16 May 2018 22:36:24
Is he likely to?

{Ed007's Note - I don't know mate, talks are ongoing but imo we need to get it sorted before he heads off the World Cup or his head will be turned.}

2.) 17 May 2018 00:23:58
Express saying he's waiting until after the WC so guess he's gone.

3.) 16 May 2018 23:55:03
year extension i heard a couple of weeks ago, so in other words a new 2 year deal, let's hope the make it a 4 year deal for the best player on our books, also hearing Dembele to Marseille.

4.) 17 May 2018 18:45:18
That your coaching pal who told you about the years extension jamesbhoy aye. Talking baws again.

5.) 20 May 2018 16:32:38
Spot on info you mean Gerry, initially when they were talking it was only over a 2 year deal, but obviously he was offered longer, and it wasnt my family friends on the coaching staff (ive actually got 2 friends on the coaching staff not one) it was off someone connected to the board (yes i've got family friends connected to the board too gerry, jealousy is an awful thing gerry. )

12 May 2018 13:05:26
So Ed, just seen Roberts confirm he went be here next season, as sad as that is, do you think we will try to replace him? Doubt we will truly replace him but need a winger if he goes.

{Ed007's Note - What about Ryan Christie?}

1.) 12 May 2018 13:26:21
I like Christie, always have but feel he's at his best in a central role. Seen him used wide left and might have played wide right against midweek but he was quiet from what I seen.

2.) 12 May 2018 15:31:12
I am sure B R will try to replace, the player we had last season, but it isn't easy to find a good winger at the right money prepared to come and work as hard as BR demands a winger to work.

3.) 12 May 2018 15:47:38
Celtic bhoy . we are not talking about jimmy Johnstone here . nothing against the boy decent player but in his time here he had a good 6 month . forrest has replaced him already . and we have Christie. Morgan and young Mikey Johnstone . and not forgetting calum who can play there . not a great loss imo. we aren't going to fall apart without him . as I said nothing against the boy if he stayed great but when he goes i wish him good luck to the bhoy in his career.

4.) 12 May 2018 16:07:48
What about James McLean?

5.) 12 May 2018 16:53:51
DD. james McLean is johnny hayes younger clone😁. joking aside is he better than what we have?

6.) 12 May 2018 18:43:19
Mickey Johnston could be the answer next season. I know he usually plays left wing but I reckon Rodgers will try and play him on the right as he is left footed.

So probably have Forrest and Johnston as back up.

7.) 12 May 2018 18:56:34
DRB, i actually quite like McLean as a player and think he is quite under rated. Another winger i like is Adama Traore at Boro.

8.) 12 May 2018 21:19:02
Can't wait to see Johnston develop into another great Celtic youth player capable of holding his own in the team.

9.) 13 May 2018 18:37:03
Ryan Christie or Paddy. not a hard one.

11 May 2018 21:45:44
So Ed, seems like it'd cost north of 15 mil to keep Roberts and Edouard and that is to maintain our current squad so do you reckon we will actually build on our core players and actually strengthen.

{Ed007's Note - Yes.}

1.) 11 May 2018 23:36:36
Ed it’s been well documented this week Peter Lawwell has been in talks with PSG for the permanent transfer of Edouard. Do you know if there’s are such talks with Man City for a similar deal for Paddy. Or indeed have these talks already taken place?

{Ed007's Note - No, Roberts will return to City at the end of the season.}

2.) 12 May 2018 08:14:13
Just seen his interview on Sky Sports. Think the dream of landing Paddy permanently is over. Says he wants to play with a premiership club next season.

3.) 12 May 2018 08:23:33
Was just about to comment on that Ice Man. Fair play to him, he has his own ambitions. Good luck to him and depending how his career develops I'd welcome him back at some point. Sounds like he's enjoyed his time here. So then, let's get looking for a new wide man.

4.) 12 May 2018 08:31:30
Just saw that myself IM, would have loved Paddy signed up for 10 but i am glad he has come out and said this early as we can't have a summer like last waiting until the last minute. If we are going to go get a player to challenge Forrest for a place we need to get it done early. With Bain signed up hopefully Edouard next.

5.) 12 May 2018 08:44:10
Good luck to the lad, he never really hid his desire to play there, he might return one day, am sure he'll have fond memories.

6.) 12 May 2018 08:53:28
Very disappointed that he won't be back as I saw glimpses of Jinky in his trickery, ability and creativity and his presence in the squad definitely had a positive effect on Forrest.
Fortunately - in a way - we never had to rely on Roberts this season, as he had much fewer appearances, but he will still be a big loss.

7.) 12 May 2018 09:27:21
He's been here over 2 seasons was never going to happen
Never really kicked on from last season due to injuries and the form of Forrest.

8.) 12 May 2018 10:04:50
May have been a different story with Roberts if Forrest hadn't kept him out of the team.

9.) 12 May 2018 10:33:47
Good luck to the Bhoy at least he was open and honest.

10.) 12 May 2018 12:45:11
Malkybhoy I don't agree. For me Roberts always seen his future down south no matter how many games he played this season.
Truth be told if we had signed him on a permanent when he first came here he'd have probably only stayed this amount of time anyway.

07 May 2018 13:35:53
Ed do you think Roberts and Edouard could sign permanent deals with us? They'd both command high fees and I don't think we could compete with English clubs however it seems they both enjoy playing here.

{Ed007's Note - Yes I think they could.}

1.) 07 May 2018 13:46:48
think big eddy is nailed on, not so sure about paddy. Not a lot of game time maybe depends if he trusts BR enough to play him. By the way anybody notice how hw has bulked up, real core stuff?

2.) 07 May 2018 22:02:03
I think we would like to sign both of them but it is going to come down to price at the end of the day.

3.) 07 May 2018 22:56:37
Would be delighted if we could sign both - on top of Christie, Morgan and possibly McGinn joining up. The question must be whether Rogic and Armstrong stay - and although obviously we want them at Celtic, it could all depend on squad improvement and cash available.
However, there should be additional funds raised by the departure of several of the following:- Gamboa, Schevchenko, Allen, Ciftci, Compper, De Vries, Boyata, Simunovic, Bitton and Hayes, or others?
Hopefully, Dembele is in no rush to leave and then we could add more quality to our defense in preparation for Europe - and Scouser Stevie's Super Sevco lol.

4.) 08 May 2018 00:03:33
Once a bhoy, I think you are going away over the top with the number of players you are listing as leaving in the summer . Continuity from one season to the next is important, especially our young players like Boyata and Bitton.

5.) 08 May 2018 10:08:26
Just going by what I've read on here Chris; Boyata and Simunovic could make a name for themselves at Celtic, but seem to want away? While the rest I have listed are either totally surplus, or have failed to command regular appearances - even before injuries.

6.) 08 May 2018 14:59:47
Seems a very common misconception about Boyata being a young player, he's actually 27!

Meanwhile we have the likes of Ajer (20) , KT (20) , Dembele (21) and Ntcham (22) who all look mature beyond their years.

7.) 08 May 2018 16:22:24
Rogic and Armstrong will not be replaced by Christie and Morgan, unless of course we want to get worse.

Morgan’s a project and Christie is too inconsistent and nowhere near the level of Stuart and Tom.

If we lose all the players cited and try and replace them with ten bob buys, CL qualification is under great threat. Rogers own signings have been mostly a key down. He doesn’t even pick players he bought.

He needs to sort that to stay where we are, never mind to stop going into the CL as the team everyone wants.

ntcham, and Eduoard the only two successes. Moussa was already identified. That’s a poor return on 17 players. The wasted wages alone must be more than most have for a total budget. I’m hoping we can bring these many projects on and at least make some of the outlay back,

The target is CL qualification and not being humiliated in it. Do that and we won’t need to bother with whatever Stevie G does with his £35m transfer kitty, sorry that should read £65m it was it £200m.

Rogers needs to bring in quality. Two more years of CL cash in the bank and they won’t be back for a decade. Or longer. Lose our current best players and replace them with the cheap options and we will once again be the creators of our own demise. Only ours to Feck up. Those of us of a certain vintage have witnessed that too many times.

8.) 08 May 2018 16:45:58
U not counting sinclair as a success? Is that a mistake.

9.) 08 May 2018 18:33:16
Once a bhoy, you have been reading too many lazy and negative Celtic fans who are by and large repeating nonsense from the main stream Scottish media .
It appears Armstrong would have been away last season but stayed only because he couldn't get a better deal elsewhere. The EPL has a great divergence in wages, so called established EPL players are earning unbelievable amounts but there are a he'll of a lot of new comers in the EPL from Irish and Scottish leagues earning very little at EPL clubs.

10.) 08 May 2018 20:29:19
I omitted Sinclair probably because he doesn’t come into the thinking right away, as he has been a pale shadow of himself last year. Will await next performances before I would make. Judgement. Fantastic last year and guff this regardless of the goals, his performances looked like he had shat it to take people on. Hopefully back to his best next season. That’s still only 3 out of 17 and that’s piss poor recruiting numbers. Rogers must do better in thevteansfer market as Ronnies team will be away and we will be left with players he never picks who he bought.

11.) 08 May 2018 20:48:09
The main two issues Liverpool
Fans had of Rogers was.

1. He couldn’t sort out the defence

2. Bought 32 players and only 6 rated a success.

Anybody see a pattern? His recruitment has been awful in numbers terms here too and his four shots at fixing the defence have done nothing to improve it by additions. Ajer is also a Ronnie player, Hendry compared and Gamboa are nowhere near the standard we are crying out for.

12.) 08 May 2018 21:27:23
Thought Paddy looked really scunnered on the bench and at one point when the camera was on him he lowered his head and stared at the ground. The impression it gave me there and then was that he's had enough sitting on the bench.

27 Apr 2018 21:01:28
Ed is Dembele injured or just not fit enough for the whole 90? Lots of people saying Edouard from the start.

{Ed007's Note - Dembele and Armstrong both trained today and are due in tomorrow for a check up and fitness test.}

1.) 27 Apr 2018 21:20:07
I'll be back tomorrow night with the same question! Cheers!

{Ed007's Note - I can't wait.}

2.) 27 Apr 2018 23:54:21
Would love to see Armstrong start - even though it may jeopardize McGregors' place - who has never let us down against Sevco.
However having him, Dembele and possibly Lustig available is a real boost to the squad and I feel sorry for anyone that misses out.

3.) 28 Apr 2018 03:32:27
Think the starting 11 anyway won't feature Armstrong or Dembele.

4.) 28 Apr 2018 14:30:07
So back earlier than expected Ed but any update on their fitness and could them returning have any impact on the starting 11?

{Ed007's Note - I've not seen or heard anything yet. If they're both fit Dembele will start and I imagine Armstrong will be on the bench.}

5.) 28 Apr 2018 15:14:04

{Ed007's Note - You're welcome.}

6.) 28 Apr 2018 19:26:20
Heard anything this evening Ed? Would have thought the media would be all over the story by now if they were out.

{Ed007's Note - All quiet mate, I'm hoping no news is good news.}

7.) 28 Apr 2018 20:07:36
Unless it's last minute bad news :) :

{Ed007's Note - Jeez oh! Who stole the sugar out your tea ya miserable sod? :)

8.) 28 Apr 2018 21:16:35
Miby Rodgers is sick of his teams being leaked n he's put a false one out to see who's leaking it. The guy that sent me it is a good mate n said he gets sent it from a guy that works in dakota, apparently the team stay there before matches.

Maybe 3 million as an average per signing? Do you expect us to get the Edouard deal done by the deadline? All quiet on that front.

{Ed007's Note - Morgan and Bain on frees will more than likely drive down the average cost per signing. I do think we'll sign Edouard and if it's going to happen it'll be well before the end of the window.}
