Celtic v Astana what do you think of the draw?

Border collie

{Ed007's Note - That'll do me! (clap)

1.) 04 Aug 2017 11:26:00
Home leg first again! That and the distance is a pain in the arse!

2.) 04 Aug 2017 11:42:14
Would have preferred somewhere actually in Europe tbh!

{Ed007's Note - Politics has no place in football!!!}

3.) 04 Aug 2017 11:47:09
i will definitely settle for that HH.

4.) 04 Aug 2017 11:51:11
I'm happy with this, We are a better team than when we played them last time and a years more experience playing as a team. Also the fact BR will no doubt have a big say on getting the team across there a day or 2 earlier than the norm to help prepare best be can under warm conditions.

5.) 04 Aug 2017 12:00:15
This is why we voted out ED!

{Ed007's Note - Enjoy it while you can, in a couple of years it'll be nigh on impossible to go to an away tie for a European match with the time it'll take to sort visas etc.}

6.) 04 Aug 2017 12:53:13
The only thing that worries me is I just saw that the put Legia Warsaw out in the last round. We are better than last year, but we will be missing Dembele and Sinclair not at his sharpest as yet and Armstrong is just baffling me at the moment. Sinclair though not as sharp his grafting on Wednesday night was brilliant. He was back covering for every one of their attacks.

7.) 04 Aug 2017 13:10:44
So does Sevco Kevbhoy (Wish they were in Europe :-P)

Just imagine how much Welsbhoy can "consume" making that trip Ed lol :-O (Y)

{Ed007's Note - If he's allowed to go....

8.) 04 Aug 2017 13:30:19
It wasn't the draw I wanted due the distance, time difference and most of all, the heat. But I'm sure the Board will charter the same plane as the last time we played them. If memory serves me right, I believe it was kitted out to a very high standard with beds etc.
It is so important that all the fans get behide the team and make Paradise a caldron of noise. Put fear in the opposition and go over there with a positive result.

9.) 04 Aug 2017 17:31:03
As Scotland's oh representative at any European level and Scotland team looking unlikely to qualify for anything. do ya reckon spfl will give us some support and rearrange fixtures so we can get proper prep for these games?

{Ed007's Note - Why should they?}

10.) 04 Aug 2017 17:35:42
Christ we will have 8 games in August now including all that travel.

Sfa spfl work with us. anyone think we should try and rearrange any games. they let us move for a friendly once.

11.) 04 Aug 2017 18:33:01
I'm so glad we missed Hapoel Beer Sheva. They were impressive at home. We need to be more adventurous in first leg and not try to pass our way in from 25 yards out. Let's give my lookalike bra' Tom Rogic freedom to shoot at will.

12.) 05 Aug 2017 18:09:13
Not the worse tie we could have had, would have been better if we played the 1st game away, however confident we can go through.

13.) 05 Aug 2017 18:10:26
We will need to take a lead over there. They, like Rosenburg, are well into their season so will be match fit and sharp.
Read they put in a new pitch similar to the Norwegians also so that should be a plus. Also on the plus side, they struggled against Legia in both ties, so hopefully Celtic can take at least a 2 goal lead over there.

14.) 08 Aug 2017 00:17:20
re the visas needed for travelling in the future have no worry R O I will come to Celtic's rescue and issue all Celtic players and managers etc Irish Passports .
Players will also be able to set up personnal companies and pay little or no tax, like Ronaldo and Bolt for just two examples.

Anyone know how many players are out injured at the moment Ta.

Border collie

1.) 30 Sep 2017 13:18:52
Ralston
Brown
Armstrong
Eboue
Sviatchenko.

2.) 30 Sep 2017 14:40:13
What's armstrongs injury?

13 Sep 2017 15:07:48
Bitterly disappointed with last night.
Too many players off form at the one time.
PSG looked fitter faster than us for most of the game, not buying a big centre half cost us 3 goals imo.
Was a real eye opener for me.

Border collie

1.) 13 Sep 2017 20:08:39
I am thinking PSG could win the comp and could be dishing out more pumpings along the way. Europa league is our level at the moment and with our squad we could do quite well. COYBIG 🍀🍀🍀.

26 Jul 2017 22:13:54
Only one shot at goal big surprise for me
Expected a few goals tbh
A few underpar performances tonight.

Border collie

1.) 26 Jul 2017 22:42:42
I can remember 2 Forrest just by the post and Armstrong worked the keeper.

25 Jul 2017 14:11:52
Ed do you know why the game isn't being broadcast live on TV tomorrow?
Is it a Celtic decision?

Border collie

{Ed007's Note - Yes it's the Club's decision. The home teams hold the broadcasting rights to the CL qualifiers and negotiate deals themselves. I don't even think they've sold it to Norwegian TV and that's probably down to them not wanting people to
stream the Norwegian channel - it's pathetic mate.
The thing is though - and it REALLY gets on my wick this - how do you get Celtic TV on your actual TV without having to faff about connecting your laptop to it? The reason I bought my android box was because let's face it, it's shite watching a game on a laptop screen and I need to use my laptop during games so I can't connect it to my TV and edit, cover the live chat etc And what about people who don't have a computer or can't use one? GGggrrr I'm away to kick next door's cat, now see what you've started! ;)

1.) 25 Jul 2017 15:14:28
***** TEXT DELETED *****

{Ed007's Note - We can't advertise anything like that mate, sorry.}

2.) 25 Jul 2017 15:32:07
Ah right no worries. Cheers.

{Ed007's Note - I've been talking to WB about stuff like that and there's nothing stopping you mentioning it on the live chat.}

3.) 25 Jul 2017 15:32:40
I was on complaining to BT about this. I never knew it was Celtic's choice. Twenty minute rant for nothing.

Doubly pissed off knowing it was Celtic, feckin disgraceful.

{Ed007's Note - It is mate, I 100% agree.}

4.) 25 Jul 2017 16:07:34
They may ban me but they won't stop me watching 😀 🍀.

{Ed007's Note - They can take our seats, but they will never take our STREAMING!!

5.) 25 Jul 2017 16:17:02
😂😂😂😂.

6.) 25 Jul 2017 16:22:28
Strange one for me. I'm no CEO but surely the club would have been better off selling the rights? As far as I'm aware, if you live in the UK, all Celtic TV gets you anyway is live audio, and video replay later in the day (which to me anyway, is pap) . That may be different for tomorrow's match, but there's no option to sign up for one game/ day. It's 50 quid! Who's going to sign up just for that that hasn't already anyway? I don't know what sort of figure CFC would be looking at mind for selling the broadcasting rights, but I thought they would have.

7.) 25 Jul 2017 16:51:30
If you want the game far Celtic tv you have to sign up for the year.
80 bangers a head. They look like they are trying to boost subscription to it.

8.) 25 Jul 2017 16:59:17
Ed and WB, Would be better off explaining this JT because I am no teccy

But my understanding is in line with yours

I watch a lot of Celtic TV abroad and have it but it never works here using my zip code which means it must be a browser thing but how do they get round that here?

Got the Lyon game on my new stream box, never got Linfield game drives me crazy mate

At some point somebody has to make these games a PPV event and Celtic would roll it in IMO.

{Ed007's Note - You can make your computer produce IP numbers from other countries so Celtic TV think your PC is in the US for example. I've read about them but never seen one working, WB will know more than me.}

9.) 25 Jul 2017 18:00:54
I would need one of my sons to sort that out. I hope a stream can be found that allows a techno dinosaur like me to watch it.

10.) 25 Jul 2017 18:05:17
ill jump in chat early tomorrow and give u instructions jamie.

11.) 25 Jul 2017 18:33:14
Nice one WB (Y) TYVM.

12.) 25 Jul 2017 18:40:23
I've just spoken to the guy who set me up with the add on I use and he said Celtic TV is no longer available due to security issues or something. I'd have thought it would be easy enough to get round that when it's available outside the UK.
I'll look out for your instruction Welsbhoy.

13.) 25 Jul 2017 18:48:09
By the Way Henrik I answered you on the sevco posts mate (y)

14.) 25 Jul 2017 20:45:03
Both legs of play off will be on BT.

15.) 25 Jul 2017 11:46:49
Would make life easier if they had an android app.

You mentioned in your email ed about upgrading your box there's plenty about at cheap prices but tbh you can't really go wrong with the Amazon fire tv box that's all I use and can't really see it not being able to cope with anything for the foreseeable.

Delete this part . if u don't wanna upgrade your box you could put plex on your lappy and stream it to your box iPad phone whatever gimme a shout could alway team viewer and sort for you.

16.) 26 Jul 2017 11:41:14
You can use and download Cyberghost free to surf anonymously. You can even also protect your wifi so everybody is protected. You can even download this and use it on your phone and it covers your computer too. :)

17.) 26 Jul 2017 11:43:22
It's called a VPN, on chrome I use 'hola' VPN (it's available through google chrome extensions) to appear to be in another country. On mobile I use Opera VPN, both work fine and are free.

18.) 26 Jul 2017 11:47:25
It's easy enough if u have a subscription. What you've all been getting online thru dc kodi etc is people who are ripping the stream and restreaming it hence why like most other tv channels they are making it harder to get.

Very emotional today
Bursting with pride and I'm an OAP who has seen the very best teams.
Once in a lifetime and I witnessed it
Thank you CFC for everything 🍀🍀🍾💚💚.

Border collie

1.) 21 May 2017 22:03:30
Hail hail border collie.

2.) 21 May 2017 22:22:14
This is just the start Brendan said after the game that it could never be done again. wait till next season.

3.) 21 May 2017 22:44:30
Outstanding achievement to go unbeaten. It's a bit touching that BC, hail hail. The last time it was done, Celtic didn't even wear hoops. You're not that old are you? Several games in, the way we were playing, I looked at the odds to go unbeaten. Too short. Too short because it's some feit. The bad news is, league seasons can only get worse from here. Or can they? 😀💪💚.

4.) 22 May 2017 00:54:04
the last time it was done the league season only lasted 18 games, so surely the last time can't be took too seriously?

Without kicking a ball?
We scored great goals all season, played some majestic football, we are head and shoulders above anyone, simply by kicking the ball.
No one done it for us.
