See celtic are looking at arsenal youngster Chris willock. Does anyone have any idea if a. he's any good and b. If there's any substance to this.

Augustus glupe

1.) 14 Mar 2017 12:02:05
FIFA 17 (not great, but a starter for 10) says he's 60/ 100. Right footed left winger, strong emphasis on pace. Paddy Roberts is a similar style of player but rated 70/ 100.
No idea about substance to the rumours, I wonder whether it would be a permanent or loan signing.

2.) 14 Mar 2017 12:49:38
Fifa ratings are drivel by all means haha. I wouldn't even think about looking at them. The amount of info on young players that they have is terrible. I'd imagine it would be permanent, can't see Rodgers bringing in loan players. Apparently he doesn't like that.

3.) 14 Mar 2017 14:09:44
This is being hyped by the English press and Arsenal as they want Tierney on the cheap. By offering Willock at an over inflated price.

4.) 15 Mar 2017 10:44:20
Seriously r u judging players on there fifa ratings lol pmsl. Come on now let's get real guys. Fifa once told me amido blade was a 82 but we all know it was more like 28.

5.) 15 Mar 2017 22:12:56
Your being generous with a 28 sparky.
What are we coming 2 bhoys basing players on fifa ratings lol.

31 Jan 2017 21:24:46
Apparently a French newspaper is reporting that celtic knocked back a 40million bid from Chelsea

Augustus glupe

1.) 31 Jan 2017 21:45:55
No chance would Celtic knock that back

2.) 31 Jan 2017 21:50:30
I was thinking that aswell, think lawell would have gone into cardiac arrest if that landed on his desk lol

3.) 31 Jan 2017 21:55:49
Na there's no chance we'd turn an offer like that down! There's some offers u just don't turn down and that's one of them! Love the big man and he's got all the makings of a top class player but 40 million for a player from Scotland! I knows he proven down there in the championship and is doing really well for the French under 21s but we'd a bit there hand off for that kind of money and I don't think any of us could have argued about it! But I'm glad we've kept a hold of him for now and let's just enjoy him while he's here 👍🏻👍🏻HH

4.) 31 Jan 2017 22:23:41
If that bid had come in, peter would have given dembele a piggy back all the way down to Stamford Bridge 😁

5.) 31 Jan 2017 23:34:43
Love the boy but for 40m al gee him a backy on a push bike to London.

13 Jan 2017 17:09:51
Izzy off to Leeds or Izzy going to stay?

Augustus glupe

1.) 13 Jan 2017 17:39:34
Hope he stays, always liked izzy and good back up to KT

2.) 13 Jan 2017 17:46:38
Would be gutted to see Izzy leave tbh. Seems like a nice guy who gives everything for Celtic. On the other hand he will want first team football and when KT is back he won't get much. I think it's safe to say he would leave with the best wishes from every Celtic fan HH

3.) 13 Jan 2017 20:11:50
I Hope Izzy stays, met him and his family a few times out and about always takes time to chat and a few pics.

4.) 13 Jan 2017 20:36:09
If he does leave at least he'll get to say his laat goodbye for the 3rd time

5.) 14 Jan 2017 11:22:03
He's a lovely bloke and while not without flaws in his defending he has been a great servant to club. Met him myself and was struck by what a lovely bloke he was, especially with the kids.

01 Dec 2016 17:21:45
Heard today that everton want dembele and are willing to pay £20million plus McCarthy. Sorry if this is old news haha.

Augustus glupe

1.) 01 Dec 2016 18:24:25
£15 million without McCarthy.

Gladbach 1-0 up on schalke. Was really impressed with them at parkhead. unfortunately for us tho they seem to be a really decent team, not sure how they fair domestically but a decent watch I've thought since that night.

Augustus glupe

{Ed007's Note - They've had a pretty poor season in Germany and are sitting 8th or 9th in the Bundesliga.}

1.) 09 Mar 2017 20:46:25
And it's 1-1 now haha.

08 Mar 2017 20:12:53
Barca vs psg on bt showcase tonight if your into that sort of thing bhoys.

Augustus glupe

1.) 08 Mar 2017 20:35:23
No bad game so far. hate that wee neymar right enuf. horrible person!

2.) 08 Mar 2017 20:43:48
Aye, canny go him tho he's a cracking player.

3.) 08 Mar 2017 22:31:16
Fair play to Barcelona that's some comeback.

Naymar still a knob tho.

4.) 08 Mar 2017 23:46:33
Despise Barcelona can't believe they won. Team full of cheats.

5.) 08 Mar 2017 23:48:34
theres only two teams in the world who can do magic like that celtic and barcelona.

6.) 09 Mar 2017 00:07:14
Feel a bit sorry for PSG . Barcas 5th was a joke, never a pen in a million years Suarez should of got 2nd yellow for diving, reminded me of the one awarded against us in the last min in Turin against Juve in 2001. that's when i started to believe the CL was a corrupt competition always looking for the richer leagues clubs to progress.

7.) 09 Mar 2017 03:02:41
Haven't seen the game, but it does seema bit incredible to come back like that, 5-3 down on agg with 2mins left. yet Barcelona win 6-5 on agg, by scoring 3 goals in the 2 mins plus injury time.!

Incredible or unbelievable, you chose, guess I will be looking for highlighs.

8.) 09 Mar 2017 04:37:29
The CL gets some stick but one way or another that was one heck of an entertaining game.

The talking point for me though, is a yellow for simulation enough? After trying to con the referee into awarding a penalty and having been carded (caught, then) should Suarez have been on the pitch to win the second penalty?

9.) 09 Mar 2017 07:01:51
Dive for the second penalty u mean Jim? U don't think that was a penalty do u?

10.) 09 Mar 2017 07:07:31
Why was there five minutes of injury time?, never seen the game, was it just one of those games where the ref was going to keep playing till Barcelona scored or was there a lot of stoppage time?

11.) 09 Mar 2017 07:39:33
The second penalty that was given steph, on the fence, wouldn't complain either way to be honest. I'd be wanting it if it was my team. He goes down easily but there's a foul there to be 'won'. Like I say, 50/ 50. Not for you I'm guessing?

Five minutes didn't seem ridiculous. Goals, cards, penalty decisions, players on both sides going down injured or cramped. I say more stoppage time needs to be added to all games.

12.) 09 Mar 2017 10:18:37
It's certainly an intimidating place to go as many teams have capitulated and been swept aside; however I really feel referees are also intimidated and heavily influenced and the diving, faking and cheating is totally unnecessary for a team with so much natural (and expensive) talent.

13.) 09 Mar 2017 17:02:08
Jim suarez could've scored but went down, if that was one of ours that risked getting sent off instead of scoring I'd be going off ma nut. He's very fly but he's the best in the business at it.

14.) 09 Mar 2017 19:20:26
That Jim suarez eh?

15.) 09 Mar 2017 22:36:33
Watched a replay on kodi there after my lugs/ eyes were burning from all the attention. Credit for coming back. Two great teams. Quick round up of it for me is that it was without heart. Both teams players throwing themself's around looking to edge it, and Barcelona were better at it and won. Proffesional foul takers.
I hope the best ever cl come back tag doesn't stick. It wasn't a patch on liverpools.
I felt something that night as a football fan, it was fantastic.

{Ed007's Note - The best ever EC/CL comeback happened in Lisbon 50 years ago!}

16.) 10 Mar 2017 06:14:58
Jim Suarez is an absolute $#! @ Steph, it's a shame because he's probably the best CF in the world. If they don't run rings round you, they cheat.

07 Mar 2017 21:53:26
Anybody know how rogic is getting on with injury? And also james Forrest's latest injury.

Augustus glupe

1.) 08 Mar 2017 15:42:36
I think Forrest will be fit for the Old Firm? To be honest I'd prefer Roberts starting. Against St. Mirren it was like night and day when GMS came off.

2.) 08 Mar 2017 15:59:02
For me the top and bottom is that from Forster to Gordon the GK position is one we've regressed in. BR did bring in another keeper, but seemingly was a failed exercise. Gordon has shown better form since then, but I wouldn't be surprised to see BR try again. Hopefully Chelsea come back in early doors and CG's contract extension means we squeeze a bit more out of them.

3.) 08 Mar 2017 18:40:29
Forster wasn't all that for a big man he did not dominate crossed balls. can't fault Gordon of late although not really tested, will see if improved in champs league. getting better goalie would cost at least 5mil . would rather see that spent elsewhere. need a couple of centre forwards.

4.) 08 Mar 2017 20:37:19
I thought forster was an excellent GK.

5.) 08 Mar 2017 22:33:26
What old firm ken?

6.) 09 Mar 2017 08:03:36
NewBhoy2 I'm sure I read that Forrest may be ready to return on Sunday, not sure how that's going to pan out though.

7.) 09 Mar 2017 14:52:41
Yes Rodgers confirmed that Forrest is back in training and has trained all week.

22 Feb 2017 12:49:18
Did eboue play last night? And if so how did he do?

Augustus glupe

{Ed007's Note - He played the whole 90 mins but seems to have struggled with the conditions and had a pretty poor game from what I've read although there was a couple of tasty tackles he put in during the match and he was booked late on.
Seemingly Mark Hill was the standout player in the 1-0 win.}

1.) 22 Feb 2017 18:14:54
I really enjoy a tackle, hope he turns out to be the destroyer we need.

17 Feb 2017 09:13:20
So did cifti go to Poland? If so I fear we are a touch light up top, even if he was going to have a few sporadic appearances till the end of the season it was an option that we no longer have with only the young boy Hutchison as a recognised striker.

Augustus glupe

1.) 17 Feb 2017 11:11:54
I hope, certainly in the league, we give Aitchison some playing time. Will we get a better chance?

2.) 17 Feb 2017 12:43:18
I think Rodgers sees Sinclair as an improvised striker when needed. Aitchison being the back up option when Griff and Dembele aren't available. Griffiths has been working hard Brendan said so that's at least a boost. Just shows his attitude under Deila must have been worse due to the fact he knew he would be starting every game!

3.) 17 Feb 2017 12:46:24
Aitchison was what I ment haha bloody predictive txt.

@UJ, there's going down easy and there's blatant diving. All of which I never mentioned in my original post by the way.

Am I the only one who thinks it shouldn't have been red? A definite yellow for me, referees set a standard and if that's red and Joey garners volley on the Hamilton guy ( name escapes me) is a yellow then it seems to be double standards yet again.

Shelvey from Newcastle? Cheaper alternative to Sigurdsson. Not actually heard anything just a player I like.

Gerry I actually fancied a draw the past 2 games against them, not on Sunday tho. 3-1 / 3-0 to us I'm not worried at all. Would love scott Brown to score!

I'd have borini and konsa but all the rest are not even remotely near celtic class and I don't see Griffiths leaving either tho do expect a bid for dembele.

I read that in the paper too Michael, I just wonder how much of it was actually true. Just basing that on the tiny wee snipit in the corner, filled an empty space where as if indeed he did say he wanted the celtic job should it become available I would imagine it would be some sort of back page story.
