Some reports unsurprisingly saying Aberdeen in for Christie. I hope we tell McInnes 2 million plus McKenna or get to.

AngelGabriel

1.) 29 Aug 2018 18:44:41
Wouldn't do business with them or hibs again.

2.) 29 Aug 2018 19:07:22
Good thing you’re not in charge then Mally.

3.) 29 Aug 2018 19:19:41
Don’t see what Aberdeen done wrong but wouldn’t deal with hibs ever again.

4.) 29 Aug 2018 19:50:20
Well since mcginn and McKenna that's all av heard on here.

5.) 29 Aug 2018 22:19:22
It's fair enough that Aberdeen are holding out on McKenna. But Celtic need to make sure they get full value for christie and only sell him to them no loan.

21 Jul 2018 11:27:06
I see Tierney being linked with Everton again and newsnow has us linked with Erik Pieters of stoke. Could he be lined up as KT replacement?

AngelGabriel

1.) 21 Jul 2018 11:34:56
There would be a complete outrage if that was a replacement for Tierney

The guy is rank rotten.

2.) 21 Jul 2018 15:26:52
If they sign him could play tierney left side of the 3B it need be and it also gives us cover if tierney gets injured. don’t see the problem with it.

3.) 21 Jul 2018 17:35:59
First and foremost guys. If you heard or read it, fairly certain it won't be true. Unlike our fallen friends, we don't do our buisness in the public eye.

4.) 22 Jul 2018 10:25:17
If Celtic sell KT there will be a riot. We all know the defence is the weakest part of our team, so to sell our best defender is complete insanity.

I don’t think we will but a statement saying we ain’t selling is required.

Even thinking they are considering selling him makes me see red. I will be totally raging if we sell him. Sutton was bang on about the pathetic wait and hope strategy of the club regarding fixing thevdefence. I don’t care how many players we currently have, the majority aren’t good enough if we have any serious intention to move up a level. Mid to front we have improved, but yet again, we are in the position of playing a cobbled defence using players not good enough. That’s dismal management and planning.

This is the third go at the CL and still we haven’t learned. Farcical with a potential £60m on the line. Get the finger out Celtic!

5.) 22 Jul 2018 13:20:46
Your right this is the third 'go'at the CL. and we have reached them! TWICE.

6.) 22 Jul 2018 14:17:12
So you think it’s ok to be continually in the position of making our progress more difficult?

It was Brendan after the cup final said we need to strengthen, that we must. Was he talking about for the league or Europe do you think? Well, we are involved with a hard qualifier, we knew players were away at the WC, three defenders and yet here we are, again.

If you also remember that TWICE, in too many of those games we were mauled. 7.0, 6.0, 5.0 along the way.

What is it that about some that they don’t think that’s an area of concern? Why is wrong to say the approach we take risks tens of millions of pounds, when dugs in theatregoers knew we needed a RB and CB if the WC wasn’t this year? Never mind that it was and Bozo got himself sent off making it even worse.

I am sick of us making it more difficult than need be. I foolishly, yet again, thought with the vast increase in money available that would motivate us to move quickly.

As it stands a couple of untried boys at this level may play. Not because we totally believe in their ability to do so, because most of us don’t, rather, we have no choice.

That is a lamentable state of affairs.

I still think we will beat Rosenborg, but by Christ we have made it more treacherous through inaction. THREE years in a row. Even if we have the right to sign someone this week, they would not be up to fitness to go straight in. I am hoping the quality BRENDAN was talking about buying were at the WC, if they aren’t, there is less room for excuses about not getting anyone. Rangers bought a guy for £3m who looks a good defender. Why couldn’t we?

7.) 22 Jul 2018 18:01:40
Magicpole I'm sick to the back teeth reading your constant whining about signings. You sound like you want a signing for the sake of it. Do you think bringing in a defender at 3 million is going to be better than we've got? If you do you're deluded. Who do you want us to sign that's better than Ajer Boyota or Simu? Any player that's proven quality has a price tag of 50 million plus. You seem to think no matter who we sign will guarantee us CL football.

8.) 22 Jul 2018 20:27:59
Schar. £3.5m.

9.) 22 Jul 2018 21:04:00
Is this the Swiss guy Kenlike? Is he any better than what we've got? Does he want to swap La Liga for Spl? What happens if he makes a couple of blunders in his first few games? Do we just sign another at 3.5 million until we have 10 centre halfs on the pay role on 20 grand a week each. The bottom line is we will never have a defence that will cope against the top sides in the CL and we already have in place a defence that last season had best record in Britain.

10.) 22 Jul 2018 21:30:09
Well said Stevie.

11.) 23 Jul 2018 11:15:26
So basically Stevie you are saying there is no point in improving the squad because we can’t compete in the champions leauge? You took my point changed it to suit yourself then tried to make me look stupid. The 3.5m being quoted is worth a punt for him. Especially after a good World Cup and the fact he has a lot of expeirience in Europe.

Chinese club makes bid for LG?

AngelGabriel

1.) 06 Jan 2017 10:47:39
LG won't leave. Definitely not for China, he's got too many kids to too many women haha

2.) 06 Jan 2017 11:29:32
Could be an ideal move for LG stephbhoy-China has a one child policy but I think it's per wummin 🍀

3.) 06 Jan 2017 12:32:26
Mibi they heard us calling him Wan-Lee Griffiths 🍀

4.) 06 Jan 2017 13:21:41
theres no way the wee man would give up all that monday book money steph lol.

5.) 06 Jan 2017 16:58:50
Rumour has it he would moved to China to be closer to the other half of his kids.

04 Dec 2016 07:36:18
One of the Sunday's reporting Real in for the Moose but would loan him back to continue his development!

I know both he and Rodgers have said he is going nowhere but if true that would be hard for the bhoy to turn down!

AngelGabriel

1.) 04 Dec 2016 16:39:20
We will soon break him down, between an unnamed Sunday newspaper and someone foolish enough to read it .
Every week he and Celtic say he is going no where . Every week the MSSM and some poster reckon he is.

2.) 04 Dec 2016 21:45:21
Old Bhot, such wit, bet you are a hoot at parties. Here's me thinking it was a rumour site! Let's hope Moussa doesn't rad my post in case I force him out of Parkhead.

Get a life!

3.) 04 Dec 2016 21:53:33
PS old bhoy I don't think he is leaving, just highlighting that for a YOUNG BHOY. who has Zidane as one of his heroes that an approach from Real would be difficult to turn down.

No more posts back to reading the Sunday papers.

4.) 04 Dec 2016 23:10:12
I think if you think he'd be interested in going to real, you don't undetstand why he came to Celtic.

5.) 04 Dec 2016 23:49:57
I think? Lol.

6.) 05 Dec 2016 19:09:11
Guys i have to agree i'm afraid. For me, and i stress the FOR ME. If your a pro football player its Barcelona or real where u want to be. Feck everywhere else. So with that. If Real wanted him, and then loaned back it definitely would be to hrd for him and us to refuse.

7.) 06 Dec 2016 17:19:20
I must admit, I feel sorry for those who think Dembele will be gone in January or summer, unless he thinks the fans don't want him .
Dembele had his choice of top clubs last summer, the fact that he chose Celtic and that it has worked out far better than he could ever have dream't means that he isn't going to risk moving and his career going balls up .
The original panty wetters can get their knickers in a twist but please don't create nonsense.

10 Sep 2016 01:35:55
Griffiths out of tomorrow and Tuesday!
Good luck Moussa!

AngelGabriel

1.) 10 Sep 2016 02:47:02
I don't know but as I've being drinking myself I hope you have being drinking yourself and your being pessimistic and poor griff won't make it. Dembele won't need luck against that lot, he has class (something they lack) and hopefully please god he now has a bit of confidence and he's settled because he has skill in abundance.

2.) 10 Sep 2016 02:51:26
Says who?

3.) 10 Sep 2016 05:45:42
Says who mate? . I've not red anything about it. unless! . your mystic meg!

chris1888.

4.) 11 Sep 2016 11:30:16
So quick to shoot down others and the bhoy was right.

5.) 11 Sep 2016 19:47:43
Thanks Dundee, I obviously hoped what I was told was wrong but it worked out ok. My info came from a health professional not directly linked celtic who found out by accident!

Reports that the other side are closing in on Dominic Solanke, would he not be a potential replacement for an unhappy mousse!

AngelGabriel

1.) 31 Aug 2018 15:44:47
They spend money. So unless the guy is on a free or a loan we wouldn’t be interested.

30 Aug 2018 23:15:41
Very professional performance tonight thought Boyata never put a foot wrong. Ntcham was great too and I would be disappointed if Christie wasn't given more game time.

Big concern was no eddy even on bench, surely if fit for Sunday he would have got some game time.

01 Aug 2018 17:59:00
Taking nothing for granted but does anyone know if we get through whether we will be playing next Tuesday or Wednesday- maybe going away but will wait a day if necessary.

AngelGabriel

1.) 01 Aug 2018 18:43:47
I think we are playing AEK Athens next Tuesday at home if we go through tonight.

2.) 01 Aug 2018 19:19:49
Next Wednesday at home.

3.) 02 Aug 2018 00:07:58
Pretty sure it is Tuesday Stevie.

4.) 02 Aug 2018 12:51:17
Wednesday the 8th.

26 Jul 2018 09:35:16
Like the rest of posts pleased about last nights performance after switching Forrest and McGregor a few with room to improve Sinclair, Hendry and Gamboa but for me even these 3 showed up well.

I wanted to ask a really stupid and irrelevant question if I may. Why wasn't bendnar flagged offside from a lot of their kick outs? He stood about 5 yards off side when the keeper kicked it to him, is it because he is running back and away from goal?

Sorry for being dumbed just got me and a few fans roundabout me shouting,

Of course it could be the ref was incompetent which he was, thought Ntcham booking was a disgrace!

AngelGabriel

1.) 26 Jul 2018 10:03:55
If you’re talking about goal kicks then you cannot be offside. Any other kick out from the keeper then he should have been flagged if that was the case.

2.) 26 Jul 2018 10:12:52
The good thing for me is Brendan knew the formation was wrong and rectified it fairly quickly.

3.) 26 Jul 2018 10:22:47
Thanks ice, no it was from the goalies hands.

4.) 26 Jul 2018 10:27:28
Thought Gamboa looked sharp, with some smart crosses. Granted one game, but on that performance I would keep him.

Hendry made a mistake and got punished, but there was plenty of players that missed a trick for the goal. Big man was solid the rest of the game and looks to have good pace.

The French boys are definitely adding serious class to this team! What a performance,

My only thought was without moussa we missed a poacher/ target man for crosses flashing across the box. If the big man played I reckon that could have been a much heavier shoreline.

For all the people in crisis about signings, handful of key men out and this has been the best start to a qualifying campaign in my opinion considering the opposition. The team look fit, hungry and full of talent.

HH.

5.) 26 Jul 2018 10:42:24
Agreed Mally, he saw it wasn’t working and from the switch we were much improved.

30 Aug 2017 18:39:33
Won't be gutted and although like most I would welcome a centre half, striker and goalkeeper I honesly don't think we will do any business.

AngelGabriel

1.) 30 Aug 2017 19:50:06
I won't be too disappointed if we don't make any more signings.
If we can get our squad up to full fitness we will continue to dominate domestically, some of the football we have played over the last year has been excellent and I'd happily settle for a repeat this season.
We haven't sold anyone, so with the signings we've made plus Patrick Roberts coming back, we are on paper even stronger, our main aim should be to get the injured players fit and hopefully keep them fit.

Apologies for just putting what I heard on a rumours website, had a crazy notion that’s what it was for

Not the only person to suggest it and see the “conspiracy” also picked up in a few articles on CQN so don’t think I can take all the credit

Oh and just cos he’s back doesn’t make it not true!
