Hi any word on snodgrass rumours and any strikers. I think we should go for rhodes I know he would cost a fair bit but snodgrass and rhodes would be perfect.

1.) I would like Snodgrass in a Celtic jersey would take Samaras place no bother.
I am however concerned about what our best team is and what formation we should play. I like Mulgrew but not as a midfielder. I think he and Van Dijk would be a CB partnership. Ambrose is a good player but at times he loses concentration.
Our team simply cannot play good football with one striker up front. Any ideas when Fridjonson will be ready? He and Pukki/ Balde can be a good partnership. Hope the new midfielder can offer that creativity and can't wait to see how he plays.
2.) @kev t- why would we change Ambrose for Mulgrew at the back? 10 games without conceding a goal! Our defence has always been Ropey and now it's solid! If it ain't broke don't fix it! I do agree with the one up front tho, stokes and pukki need a partner up top they are link up strikers balde would work but Lennon isn't ready to trust him, I think the big man will come good
3.) @kev T I agree with what you say. I think snodgrass is a more consistent player and is what we need.
I can't understand why mulgrew is not partnering van dijk at the centre of defence. In my opinion he plays his best football at cb.
Stokes has to go. He is simply not good enough to play in first team.
There no use signing all these players if they won't get a chance. Pukki looks more of a secondary striker and I think he would link up well with fridjonson.
I have never been convinced by lennon as manager in terms of signings and his tactics. He simply is not good enough

What makes you think pukki would be an ideal partner for fridjohnson? Have u seen him play?
1 thought stokes has done a hell of a lot more than pukki in a celtic shirt goals, assists and performances. Why couldn't he be the ideal partner for balde or fridjohndon
5.) I don't know who we are getting in, but i hope nothing happens to kris commons, or who's going to score the goals.
6.) According to an interview NL done on tv today he said the club holds no interest in Snodgrass and had not bid for any other player yet. He is a good player but he isn't worth £5-6m that's bein banded about. Most teams r having to pay over the odds 4 players because they r in the EPL. It's a penalty box striker we need and that's not Snodgrass.
7.) Its my opinion that Mulgrew would be a better partnership, I think midfield just ain't for him and its sure as hell not where I want to see him. With Brown & Ledley or even Biton in there its 3 players of similar midfield ability and style.
As for Stokes doing more than Pukki, well when you get far more game time, I expect that to happen, just remind me though has Stokes not scored 5 goals compared to Pukki 2 or 3? Simple facts are not any Strikers in our squad is anywhere near good enough to play up top on there own. We need to have 2 and in our league especially there is no need whatsoever not too. In the SPL Lennon should play with 2 up top regardless of who we are playing.
8.) We do need 2 up top man city make it work and play cracking football in 442! But why are any of you complaining about mulgrew instead of ambrose are nuts! 0 goals conceded in 10 games both CB are playing dominantly, I think the defence complaints are ridiculous they deserve praise not judgment.

10.) Kev is talking about the amount of time on the pitch compared to pukki me personally I would give balde and pukki a shot or pukki and the new bhoy mulgrew has done well playing midfeild in my view and if the defence isn't broken don't fix it
11.) The stats being quoted about the defence are not a clear indication of individual performances. I seem to recall efe ambrose gifting hibs a shot on goal from 8 yards which if not for the post would have wiped out the 10 clean sheets stat. I am sure there are other instances of his lack of composure and loss of concentration. he plays right back for nigeria because that's his best position. I like ambrose but he's a fullback not a centreback. personally I would play matthews and fisher at rightwing with lustig and ambrose at rightback. sell forrest and use the money for another quality CB to partner van dijk
12.) See tbh honest I would literally punt mulgrew to the bench as the guy just doesn't cut it the way we should be playing.
Yes efe and virgil have been solid but ambrose is still dodgy at times, albeit lustig is a wonderful full back I would like to see him partner van dijk with matthews in at right back and emilio or another lb in, this won't happen tho.
as for stokes the guy is just not a striker and doesn't fit in with our style, how many times has he started up top with kommons in behind him? he, s always drifting out wide when he should be in the box 24/7 like hooper was!.
we need 2 solid consistent wingers and a poacher possibly fridjonsson when we see him if not then we should be pushing the boat out for a top drawer goalscorer so we have a chance at the cl nxt season, stokes and pukki just simply ain't the answer as there goal record shows

hi what has happened to young boy Henderson in the first team. I see deila is saying he won't be tinkering with first team anymore . would like to see Henderson get a game he is playing very well for youth team at the moment. I think he would link up well with young mgregor. what's your thoughts people

if we do get through to next round of qualifiers in champions league due to an unbelievable bit of luck, what happens if we have sold forrester, van dyke, Mathews and commons for about 20-25 mill do you think the board would actualy spend even half of it to replace in time of last qualifier. I hope they would. needs to be on 3-4 million pound players not half a million pound players hoping they come good. we got absolutely destroyed against legia and don't want another embarrassment .

I think its time to start looking at youth in team. We should of brought watt back, loaned out balde, let samaras go, even loaned out puki and gave our youth strikers and midfielders a go. also hopefully we can get deal for fisher sorted out as we can't allow him to go for nothing as it will look stupid.rogic should have stayed and given a chance as he is playing well again in aus. hopefully watt and rogic get chance next year as this could save millions in transfer window. what does anyone else think.

yea I agree mate although I am a massive fan of tony watt I feel this loan move has been great for him. would he of got his head sorted otherwise? i'm not to sure now in all honesty, but I would always of played him regardless as he's always a threat when he's played correctly and not to forget he's playing against better opposition now where he is at
rogic is another who always gave his all and looked good but I feel there will only be room for either mc gregor or rogic come the summer. tough choice but probably mc gregor will be more suited
henderson I think is one that should be giving the chance now and move johansen up to commons role as i'm sure he will get a rest next coming weeks
balde and griffiths should start up front with derk on the left and not mulgrew or samaras. they seemed to link up well last weekend and surely is worth a go
i would be happy with any two of our strikers playing together but please not stokes. he's had a long long run of games and shows too much on the left side of 18yard box and 9/10 times will try a shot not trying to pass to a supporting player
2.) @Al bhoy I agree with you mate. that's both watt and rogic playing well away on loan, I doubt we will see them again to be honest which is a shame.
Theres no point signing these youngsters if they are not going to get chance. Atajic looks a good player aswell
3.) @kieranbhoy the team selection is a total mess at moment. Samaras should be nowhere near starting 11 nor forrest. Stokes should be nowhere near Celtic full stop.

Neil lennon has said we put big bid in for a player from turkey but could no agree personel terms. Presume this was player we bid for that was delicate. Dont think anyone will come in now. Which means we only have spent about 2 million on Johnson as ldeley money will pay for Griffiths.

I think no more strikers tonigh. Give what we have a chance then get rid off ones not producing in summer and bring proven scorer in like johansson or finbogasson
Samaras is not wanting to go here at this time. personaly I would take money now as samaras has done nothing this year.
If we manage to get through by pure luck. wee need to buy two quality players at 4 mill each rather than 4 half million hopefuls.
