When Brendan Rodgers came back he said he was happy with what had been put in place from a recruitment perspective since he was hear the first time.

Aye?

A few months back he said he could only coach the players he's given then he told us he signed off on the players purchased in summer.

What one is it?

Last week Rodgers criticised the fans for booing this week he tells the players to ignore fan anger. I love when Brendan tells me to behave. He had never been angrier than he was with players a few weeks back he said and has repeatedly thrown them under a bus for not being the required quality. When the window closed he said the the board did their best yesterday he said the board could have been braver.

Brendan speaks with forked tongue.

It's never Brendan Rodgers fault and he talks absolute bollocks. His football is dire and his selections are bizarre. He's the man by his own admission that stopped Lagerbielke's loan move to Lecce after telling him he's not good enough to be here. Absolutely shameful way to treat a man who wasn't even in the squad yesterday.

He's a busted flush and a shadow of his former self. What's worse is if the board plug him would you trust them to make a forward thinking appointment? It actually doesn't matter who the manager is there will be no progress while Michael Nicholson, Mark and Peter Lawell and Dermot Desmond remain in control. They don't have what it takes to move Celtic forward as a club. They're not fit for purpose.

Hoarding cash in case we don't win the league what a bizarre stance and comment from Peter Lawell at the AGM. As ludicrous as his jokes about the Rangers were crass. However it could become a self fulfilling prophecy but if we do lose the title it will be for that very reason because we failed to invest and hoarded cash. There's nothing really to say anymore it's all been said we're just repeating ourselves we know where the failure has been. Their lack of communication with and disregard for the supporters responsible for the millions in the coffers is arrogant in the extreme. We're in an abusive relationship.

It would be absolutely unforgivable if we surrender the title and gift the rebuilt tribute act £60 million which if it happens should result in their collective resignations.

Even if we do win the title which to me after having watched all home games this season including last week and yesterday is looking increasingly less likely the board need to go in the clubs best interest.

It's time for change and that includes our absentee landlord.

"So for those who are with me and always have been, let's enjoy the journey. '

I'm not enjoying it Brendan.

'For those who I need to convince, I will see you here in May. Thank you very much for coming, Hail Hail. '

(Brendan Rodgers)

Words are cheap Brendan as they say in Glasgow it's no about saying it it's about daen it. There's no more windows to strengthen it is what it is you'll need to win the league with what you have at your disposal Brendan.

So take responsibility sort it out and show us why your the highest paid manager in Celtic's history.

Convince me.

A pointless post but cathartic and made me feel better. Slightly.

That was better than putting a 'poll' up as I reckon the majority on here would agree with much of that. Time for no more double-talk and party-line flannel and. There's a job to be done with no more excuses diversions and finger pointing before it's too late for tears; or as the song says 'I predict a riot'.

Excellent post JFP. Here's why I think we're in the c***. Let's assume DD wants to sell to another interested party (I can't see it but looking on the bright side you can never say never) . Given the paucity of money in the Scottish game, what incentive is there for a prospective and reputable buyer becoming custodians of our club? We're hamstrung by the old but true cliche of being a big fish in a small pond. Small steps but could fan groups get together (not just GB) and have dialogue with each other with the goal of presenting a single request to our Board for much improved, regular engagement. It would take humility and a resolve to put aside differences for the greater good of Celtic. The Board should be taking the initiative but that ain't happening. The only other option I can think of is to vote with our feet but I realise and understand why many wouldn't be comfortable with that. Sorry if I'm talking p***. Just trying to get engagement going and much needed bridges built.

BR more than proved what he can do, when appointed as the Celtic manager first time around.

7 trophies on the bounce, an invincible season, back to back trebles and then, with the League Cup safely in the trophy cabinet, the relationship between him and those in power at CP, I'd imagine, namely PL, went south and BR was off to Leicester.

Let's not forget that our board managed to squeeze around £9M for the signatures of BR and his back room staff in the process.

Given what Ange then achieved on the back of the shambolic second tenure from NL, I genuinely believed by persuading BR to come back last summer he'd get the backing to bring in better players to add to those that Ange left behind as he boarded the Mega bus for the bright lights of the big smoke.

Two transfer windows later, our team and the confidence they no longer possess, seems worryingly reminiscent of the NL CV year when apathy kicked in and they lost the 10.

Personally, I'm in utter disbelief at how this board have 'operated' since last summer and I agree 100% JFP, BR's tune has changed with every press conference. He'd never make a poker player though, as his face says it all.

How the remainder of this season plays out remains to be seen but it isn't looking good at all.

As someone posted the other day, if we win the league the board will feel vindicated, ala, the squad was strong enough, if we lose the league, they will undoubtedly deflect and probably part ways with BR as he'll ultimately be made the scapegoat whilst they pay out their dividends.

If this was a movie we'd have every right to question the scriptwriters artistic freedom, it's that unbelievable.

We need something to change this week before we cross the mate to play Hibs, continuing to do what we're doing is madness.

I still believe we can win this League title, but regardless, that would be covering over the cracks given the ineptitude of what's going on at board level.

Wholesale change is required at our great club, it's the least the supporters deserve, so if you're reading this;- PL/ ML/ MN or DD, F£CK OFF and hand over our the reins to someone who's capable.

HH

Your post may have made you feel good, but honest to God it’s really destroyed me . I am not disagreeing with what u say, but in both the way you say and the number of times u say it .
The only person who has shown a public interest in buying Celtic, is the half witted kick boxer Conor Mc Gregor, if anyone knows anyone else who may have a vague notion, then instead of more gloom and doom maybe we could have something positive to hold - on .
Someone said our players are downcast and in dispair I cannot understand that as I know I hated when new players came in, as I was afraid they would take my place.

I know we are in no position to laugh at other club’s woes .
But it seems Liverpool players have got their wires crossed and VVD and goalie combined in atrocious circumstances to concede 2 goals against Arsenal .
ThanK God we didn’t sign their 3 rd choice goalie, if Harte and Scales messed up like two Liverpool players there would be many fans including myself having possible heart attacks.
