Buzz I enjoy most of your posts on here and agree with 99% of them but you have a blind spot regarding the GB, these are just 200 or so "intellectuals" they think are cleverer than us fans, who have one view and that is THEIR VIEW, all other fans are treated with disdain by them if we disagree with their opinions. Over the years they cost Celtic a lot both in money and reputation by their stupid antics.
Next on to Pedro and his "wean" who are also costing Celtic money by their cheap project signings and recently in reputation also, as Pedro in particular has divided our support and taken away one of the clubs pivotal strenghts our unity.
As for Dermot Desmond, we have seen before what he thinks of us Celtic fans, he treats us with the same disdain that the GB do, he does not care one iota how our team is performing as long as he and Pedro get their annual bonus, DD sees Celtic as a cash cow, despite being a billionaire, people like him are greedy for money and NEVER share it.
Yes Brendan is to blame as well as his ego made him change a winning formula because it was NOT his idea in first place.

The GB might only have about 270 members but they get the full North Curve bouncing at Celtic Park.
The Bhoys are also missing, which is a big loss.

The GB went to every match for many years, so I would image they got a large allocation for away matches.

Now those “just 200” fans account for about 10% of our away support and it sounds like constant encouragement.

I’m not sure what the Green Brigade have done personally to supporters that didn’t agree with their views?

The Green Brigade have made Celtic more money that they’ve cost our club.

What about the framed photos the Celtic shop sell with the brilliant Tifo’s organised and setup by the GB.
“Glasgows Green and White” slogan that’s plastered over the Celtic Shop Etc.

I wouldn’t say the GB beliefs have changed much, from when I was their age going to Celtic Park pre GB years.
I think it’s more that our older fans are showing their age. ?.

@Buzz I take it you agree with GB flying banned flags at Celtic games, I do not even think they know difference between supporting the Palestinian people as opposed to Hamas and the other proscribed groups.
This "older fan" used to give it laldy in the old Jungle and we provided a great atmosphere, I read on here some posters moaning about how "quiet" Celtic Park is without GB, make your own noise, ask my ghirls I regularly started singing on my own then got others around to join in, much to the embarrassment of said ghirls, old Jungle habits die hard lol.
In past couple of years I have not been able to attend away games because of health issues, but before that I was in among the GB who would order fans about telling some of their own fans to move so they could unfurl a banner or worse light their flares and smokebombs, on more than one occasion I told THEM to f. off and take their flares to BACK of stand
All us Celtic fans all have different opinions but only the GB does not respect any fan who does not share their political beliefs.
One last thing about the GB, when I visit somewhere I respect where I am please tell your beloved GB to respect Celtic Park
@edincelt if you want to make a name for yourself then post YOUR opinion.

I’ve started plenty of songs myself over the years but I know I can’t replace an Ultra Group.

How many banned flags were flown?
I think it was only One flag, which still doesn’t make it right. There was also One banned person flag flown at Ibrox but there was no overreaction from the peepul.

Die hard Celtic fans disrespecting our Stadium is an OTT reaction from yourself Tim.
Where the Green Brigade respecting Celtic Park when they did full stadium Tifo’s over the years, which impressed rival supporters across Britain and the rest of Europe.

I’m sure you took part in those magnificent Tifo’s which Celtic made money from to pay any fines.

Lazio got partial closure of stand for throwing objects including fireworks at Celtic fans.
A West of Scotland club had partial closing of stand due to sectarian singing despite Sevco having. a major say on the UEFA observers .
Sevco and Dallas seem to have major say in who is UEFA observer at our games and they are very observant .
We would hope to avoid ground closure/ partial closure.
