So what's everyone's genuine thoughts on the transfer window so far?

I said before the league started that we were weaker than last year and a few on here disagreed but by reading there latest posts they seem to be thinking the same way at the moment.

Have the board completely miss read the situation or are they just hanging off to the last minute to see if we get the players we are after all along? If that's the case then I don't want those players because they are obviously hanging off to the last minute to see if there is a better offer before committing .

I have the exact same feeling I did when we were going for 10 at the moment. I hope am wrong but I feel it's going to be a long season .

The most worrying thing is on the pitch we look like a team with no identity no philosophy just 11 players told to go out and play and that's more worrying for me . Rodgers looks deflated already and that says it all for me . He should be out trying to prove a point.

Mick we were lucky to get a manger nobody new and smashed our league so why are celtic fans doubting brendan he wanted to come back so why I can't understand this do you think sevco can win the league Cup well ok it's like we're spoilt brendan will win we are lucky to have him come on celtic will league easy 2 teams were the best easy.

Watching the Rangers game last night, just to see if PSV were any good obviously, it was PSV midfield that impressed me most, strong, physical players with great technique, where we lack that type of player anywhere on the park, in my opinion we need that type of quality in our team, we are lightweight in midfield especially, I noticed Eric Dier being mentioned before, so why not that type of player who breaks up attacks, BR 1 had quality, ball winners and match winners all over the park, not prospects, sorry for being so negative, but as a club we never build when we are our strongest and we go through the same moans and groans every single window, I liked the window when we announced CCV, GG and Jota, we live in hope, again sorry for my moans and groans.

Maybe BR is deflated a little because he doesn't have much of a say in recruitment as he did last time he was here. Maybe they're prioritising Barrowfield over recruitment which would've been high up on BR wanted list. Maybe the key targets are holding out to see their options before deciding on a move. Maybe the board thought BR could do enough with the current squad so prioritised younger talent. We can only speculate. We all know we're lacking in a few areas and all agree what areas need strengthening. We can only be patient and hope we get the right quality in. We do also need to move out some more deadwood and that could be a hold up as they will be weighing up their options too. The team was so strong under AP and it looks like we've lost our way a fair bit switching styles (albeit 3 games into the season) I just hope come the 31st we have a squad that can dominate in the style our manager wants us too and that will be enough to wrap up the double and not be embarrassed in Europe.

We may or may not retain title, with a 3 point advantage a win at Ibrox and they will struggle to catch us even that early on especially with the next round of fixtures they have including away to Aberdeen and us.
The league cups gone but could still win Scottish cup again which would be another good season.
My biggest worry is Champions League I just don’t see us being any better than last season where we played well but didn’t have a lot to show for it.
We could get a much harder group this time aswell and losing and heavily against the top sides is never good for Morale.
I hope I’m wrong and BR surprises us all in final week of window with 1 or 2 Marquee type signings because I feel we need a shot in the arm before the Champions league starts and before we play that mob.

The artificial pitch prepared to prevent football been played, achieved exactly what McInness prepared pitch for. Bonus for SPL teams and SMSM the unplayable surface has shaken the confidence of the Celtic support who are now ridiculing and abusing B R and our team who only last season won treble . Doubts about players abilities all over the pitch are commonplace and after signing 7 players some commentators claim we need 6 / 7 new players in the lnext week to bring us to last seasons level. Many of our players are now rated as duds and our Manager who quite recently won an invincible treble is destroying our team by his tactics. Some say B R shouldn’t be using his tactics and should be playing Ange’s tactics, that seems to me to be insulting as BR has a first class record as manager.
