I'll always support Celtic through thick and thin but it pains me that our Board are allowing the club to become a bit of a laughing stock when it comes to appointing the right people and recruiting the right players. I know that financial affairs are important but without success on the pitch there won't be too much finance to be cautious about. For feck sake Celtic, do the right thing for the club and the fans, stop fecking about in the transfer market and get some quality players signed. It's all well and good saying you're trying and getting deals over the line can be difficult, just get them done and pay what you need to pay for the right players. Had this been done a month ago we wouldn't have lost to Cluj. HH.

Bob stop talking barry white! Losing to Cluj had nothing to do with the board except they appointed Lennon. The board have not messed about in the transfer market as they have signed approx £13m worth of players at Lennon's request. We can only attract a better quality of player than the players we have already signed if we can guarentee Champions League football as quality players will not come to a mickey mouse tin pot league otherwise.
Unfortunately we can't offer Champions League football due to the incompetent manager we currently have.
Is there anything I have said that you or anyone else doesn't understand? Stop blaming the board as if Lennon is some sort of Celtic legend and an untouchable messiah!

LENNON OUT.

They have taken the support for granted for far too because of guaranteed season book sales and virtually unchallenged domestic success to back-up their complacency and arrogance.
The sale of our best players has also become a summer 'tradition' that even our previous manager wasn't spared by selling Dembele.
The fact that we have won three successive domestic trebles, is seen as fair compensation for European oblivion and regular disappointment as the club seemed to accept that we would struggle with four qualifiers, so never even tried to improve the team.
Our three new signings were not additional improvements to the squad, but replacements for Lustig, Boyata and KT and it's there for all to see that at present, they don't come anywhere near the quality that was required to make us a better team.
It can also be argued that they installed a manager who they think can me manipulated and controlled without too much argument, but if the flak and abuse from Tuesday, is anything to go by, I can see the situation becoming very volatile if he is hung out to dry. The next stern test will be at Ibrox on Sep 1st where the Board and the manager will be under severe pressure to sort this out.
