I keep seeing people say saying if we want to play ntcham we have to drop Scott Brown

Not for me for a few reason.

1) ntcham is rotten as a deep lying midfielder
If he's on the park he has to be move
advanced where he can make a real
impact. Fo r me it's ntcham or Christie
For the number 10 role.

2) ntcham doesn't protect the defence
enough, it just isn't his game

So if Brown to be dropped it has to be biton for me at this moment.

Mcgregor for Brown is a better move Kev.

Agreed that’s why we need another cm enforcer, Christie and ntcham are attacking mids

Mcgregor is first choice cm
And brown biton not got the bite we need and are to slow I thought eboue might of been the man to do that but not given a chance missing again?

New cm/ cdm needed.

Agreed, if we drop Brown we do not have a suitable replacement. We need a combatative midfielder to boss the midfield and to play with McGregor which is why Brown always plays.

That would still have left ntcham as a deep lying midfielder ged

Like I said above play ntcham or Christie at no.10 for me.

I think Brown struggled because the energy of McGregor wasn't beside him. Left him with to much to do on his own.

Moving McGregor killed 3 players out there.
McGregor Brown and ntcham.

Christie played brilliant football from CM last season. Christie and McGregor with Ntcham just ahead is probably the best midfield we could put on a pitch.

Again kev Christie is not a deep lying midfielder.

If your taking Brown out it has to be biton or try the bhoy Connell.

Ramming square pegs into round holes cost us that tie.
It has to stop.

Kev I said it the other day when someone posted about ibrox that I would leave Brown out and play 3 CM's them being McGregor Ntcham and probably Bitton, I got kinda slaughtered fir it. I stand by that statement enen more so now, although I would perhaps change Ntcham for Christie at ibrox and ask him to come into midfield a bit more. I'd go with a 4-5-1 with Forrest and Sinclair out wide and I'd play Jullien with Ajer, Hayes LB Elhammed RB and I would get Gordon in goal with eddy up top

Gordon

Elhammed Ajer Jullien Hayes

Christie Bitton McGregor (capt)

Forrest. Sinclair
Eddy

This would be my line up, there will be life after Brown so we may as well start now.

Totally agree both Kev's Ntcham cannot play as a deep lying midfielder, Christie besdie Calmac with Ntcham in the No.10 role👍.

Last November we played our best football of the season when we beat hibs 4-2 and killie 5-1.Brown was out injured and we had McGregor playing the deeper role with Christie and Rogic playing further up in a 4-1-4-1.
We could do something similar with McGregor in the sitting role, with Ntcham and Christie pushing forward.
I hate Brown and Ntcham being partnered in that 4-2-3-1.They are too stationary and who can forget how they both got ran over the top off at ibrokes in December.
I do like Ntcham in a more forward role but I don't know if we can trust playing him at ibrokes. Sometimes he is a man short and doesn't seem up for the fight. Depends what Ntcham decides to turn up.

Last year when Brown was injured McGregor played his role and played it magnificently.

In front of him we had Rogic and Christie and we played some of our best football in years.

McGregor sitting with Ntcham and Christie infront would work just fine. It would still utilize McGregors creativity with Ntcham in there scheming as well.

Cluj were ok but not great. Individual mistakes from Brown aside he slows the play down and is largely the reason we were so passive in the first half.

I agree we will need a midfield enforcer for Europa League if we get there. We will also need him for games against Sevco because like it or lump it they have improved vastly especially in midfield. If we persist with Brown in these games we will be overrun again.
