In scoring at the weekend James Forrest became the first Celtic player to score in 11 consecutive seasons since Paul McStay. 👏.

Now that's a legend! We're very lucky to have him. A true one club man.

He has really developed into a true Celtic-star and scorer of so many important goals in big games.

Strange how fickle we all are! I can remember a few seasons back many on here would have taken the time to drive Forrest to another club if we could have sold him. I like to remember this when the temptation is to slate existing players. I am happy when Lenny says he does not have an automatic first eleven as each position needs at least two interchangeable players not one good and one average. I think the backup needs to be just as good otherwisw the team is weakened when first choice not available.

There's no denying JF was inconsistent for a time, when he would only produce what we know he can in say - one game in four or five? However, his consistency has improved very much - as has his fitness and he no longer has so many injury problems like before as well.

More selective memories.
