Here's a question troops.
Are rangers with there limited amount of money giving there manager the best possible chance to stop 9 iar or are Celtic with there vast amount of money giving there manager the possible chance to win 9 iar.
I genuinely thought we would push the button on at least 2 signings when KT was sold but again it seems another frustrating window is on the cards.
NL will carry the can for any failures that might occur this season but if quality players are not signed there the buck will stop with DD and PL.

you say push the button on 2 new signings when kt was sold. the boy was sold 2 days ago how fast were you expecting after the kt sale.

Can't really say they haven't recruited well given their budget. From what I've seen Aribo looks like a great addition to their midfield, and they look more dynamic going forward. Time will tell.

U. I are you telling me Celtic didn't know the deal was happening days ok. are you seriously thinking the deal happened at 7 on Wednesday night when KT was down the park.
It's a multi million pound deal. its seen agreed for a while know.
We should have been pro active with deals even if he was sold or not.

Anyone think that this deal has been agreed for a while hasn't got a clue.

What these people are saying the we agreed to a deal where WE keep paying KTs weekly wage and medical bills for weeks longer than we have To?

Aye can see lawwell agreeing to waste money like that eh.

Kev with that way off thinking you could say arsenal weren't willing to go early with the deal because they weren't willing to pay 75 grand a week to a player who can't play for another 6 weeks.
The top brass at both clubs knew all along what was going to happen.

Once fees have been agreed it really doesn't take that long to conclude deals. Unless there is need for work permit. Arsenal met the valuation late on and we finalised it. It was that quick.

{Ed007's Note - KT's contract with Arsenal was already done and dusted, the hang up was the clubs agreeing a fee and once that was done it was only the medical left to do.}

The chances of KT leaving in the window were growing by the day - as was his likely destination, so the club should at least have been planning or preparing a transfer strategy to be put in place as soon as the player 'left the building'. All we can hope is that the club are in the process of securing the targets identified, now that they have the cash to do business - and not hesitate and dither about.

They are definitely stronger and were already closer than any previous year last year plus they gubbed us twice. What I’d heard about slippy from good sources before he came up here was that he was as thick as the proverbial in the neck of a bottle and struggled with the written parts of his coaching exams but was an excellent coach on the park. So far both seem believable. I’ll tell you what he definitely has is a winning mentality. I can only see it being closer again this year. I still think we need a striker.

what makes you think we where dithering tierney was sold like two days ago
most businesses as we know need to show money first still things could have gone wrong in the sale of KT they could have pulled out. celtic quite rightly should wait until in is actually finalised before we move;
if we get a win today and win on tuesday i think moves will be done.
