PL is a muppet, he is a not a fan of the boys, he is a fan of the money he can make from the boys, bet he gets a good cut of any transfer fee, therefore he will quite happily sell any silver he can, bet if DD didn't aloow calmac sale Lawell would have pumped him out to Rodgers.
Fair play to KT he wants to play against better players, I just think he went to wrong club, gooners won't win league for a long time.

I was talking about Lawwell earlier, gets such a bad rap, but we got £5m more up front for KT then arsenal paid for £72m record signing Pepe. He knows how to squeeze every penny out of other clubs. I suppose in one respect we keep pushing the benchmark of our player values up. Despite the stupid money thrown about in England, its unrealistic to think KT should have been £35m when the previous Scottish record fee was £20m the season prior. Maybe in a couple of years we could see a player like Ajer going for £30m plus if we keep pushing for top dollar for our best assets.

{Ed007's Note - I said the other week that the way transfer fees are going we could possibly be looking at our first £50ish million player with Ajer in 2/3 years time. Who'd have (realistically) thunk we'd get £25m for KT 2 years ago?
I give Lawwell pelters when I think he deserves it but as a CEO he does a fantastic job and is one of the the toughest and most respected negotiators in the game.}

I think the job he does in terms of bringing money in is absolutely tremendous but for as many windows as I can remember now we just haven't done the business we should have by the time we should have, if at all. I'm praying for a strong finish to the window but I'm sceltical.

Lennon this time has already spent 12 million on 4 players.

The problem the last few windows has not been the manager not being backed, it was the manager (rodgers) and scouts being piss poor and identifying good players and wasting a bloody fortune.
