Think our priority positions are first team players for LB and target man. I would also like to see another RB for cover and midfield powerhouse.

Hope we go back in for cifuentes as he is supposed to be a cracking player according to Tim Vickery who knows that market well.

Seems his agent is demanding millions for himself in any deal. Heard that's why man city ain't going for him now.

{Ed007's Note - Cifuentes and his agent are due a percentage of his transfer fee as per the player's contract.}

Is this due to player rights or just contract ED? Also do you think we will move for Cifuentes or is that just another “link”.

{Ed007's Note - It's just part of his contract with his club and is quite common in South America. I was told the other week that we have spoken to both Cifuente's club & agent so there is definite interest there.}

I can see how that would cause some teams to baulk at the fee being asked as I assume the selling club will ask for a higher fee in order to offset the losses to the player and his agent.

{Ed007's Note - Maybe not all of it but they'll certainly look to pass on some of it to any buying club.}

Crazy to think of. Maybe that’s why Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo commanded those gigantic fees when transferring to Real Madrid.

It is normal in todays' market that agents get a fee when a club buys a player they are managing.

{Ed007's Note - Very normal mate. The latest figures released in April showed that Pub League clubs spent £211 million (£257 million overall in England) in agent fees over both windows last season. Celtic were obviously the highest payers in Scotland paying out £1.7 million compared to Liverpool who spent the most in England with £26.8 million.}
