The press and pundits have been trying to sell KT since he broke into the first team as they did since day one of BRs reign so I haven't paid much attention to the speculation. However couple of thoughts. I'd be really disappointed in KT and surprised if he chose to leave at 22 years of age with the chance of being remembered with the 10 plus he saw the fans reaction to BRs departure. Doesn't tie up with being one of our own. Celtic will already have made him a very wealthy man in two years time and personally with 10 years plus ahead of him career wise nobody could have paid me enough to leave Parkhead in his position. On another note if he does choose to go the logic of the league he plays in being a factor in the asking price is lost on me. A loaf in Scotland costs the same as a loaf in England. The only three relevant factors in establishing the sale price are (1) how good is he (2) how much does the buying club have in their pocket and (3) how desperate are the selling club in this case Celtic for the money raised. The last point is a factor only in as much as the point at which we couldn't knock back the cash is obviously lower than what EPL clubs could knock back given the differential in revenue. That being said we're not desperate so why sell unless KT himself wants away and if we do it should be for top dollar. Table £25m as a starter then we'll start talking would be my position which I don't think is unrealistic or excessive by an stretch of the imagination.

My name is KT i want to play for celtic but i also have to think of my career. If celtic were in epl i would be here for life but sadly that can't be. I have to go and test myself as i am a professional sportsman.
Though i am waiting on the daily papers telling me where and when i will go. Aye right.
