Whats everyones thoughts on VAR.
Personally i think it ruins the game.
Can you imagine a celtic rangers game using VAR. There would be 6 penalties (5 fir Rangers) 6 sendings off. Goals disallowed.
I can accept a referee making an error in the heat of the moment but some of the decisions VAR make are worse than what i've seen scottish refs make.

Hey Locheilbhoy you leave my VAR alone.
I am QUIDS in thanks to it and I for one, am looking forward to it coming to the EPL this season, my penalty bets and red cards are almost guaranteed.

Well the ref got the 2 decisions wrong and VAR got them coreect.
I would love to see it in our league maybe get all those penalties newco get seeing them overturned.

Dreading it coming to SPL as it sometimes creates more issues than it solves, not to mention the time taken to reach a decision.
Players muscles could also tighten up hanging around for so long?

Who would the VAR Panel be? Then who would monitor them? & who would monitor them? There would be bedlam and about 20 min added each game. It's a No for me.

Thing with VAR for me is it takes out the honest mistakes that is so convenient in the league.

I am ok with VAR as it might help stop the cheaters
Final decision is always the refs.
However, this farce of having a guy in another studio is not ideal.
Why can't each team captain not be allowed say 3 challenges and the ref then can view it on a screen at various points on the pitch.
I would take it one step further and show the same view the ref has on the big screen so the crowd can see as well. Ref should also be wired so he can state his decision for the "paying" customer.
Open, honset and not done in secret where only a select few get to see it.
Is VAR perfect? No, of course it isn't but it might make the cheats think twice and even correct an honest mistake.

So if the ref gave them an honest mistake against us in the last min but var got the right decision . because let's face it they would suffer more than anyone in the country ad go for it.

The ref may always have the final decision but with var they would need to overturn the decision if it proves they are wrong. Sevco better sell the thug quick as he will never finish a game.
What's the record for the most Red cards for a player in 1 season?
