I need to laugh at the way some of our supporters think. It’s all doom and gloom because players are up for speculation. It’s the sign of a good team that other teams are after our players. It happens to every club, not just ours. I feel the board are banking on Tierney getting sold before we spend any real cash, and quite rightly so.

Sell him, and bring in the four or five quality players we need with that money. It’s good business. Cheer up, and look forward to who’s going to come in, rather than who’s heading out the door 🍀.

I disagree that its right that we should have to sell KT before we can spend any real cash, we need to keep our best players.
I have stuck up for Peter Lawwell for years, always maintaining he has a 10 year plan, which up to now has worked well because we have 8 in a row and 50 million in the bank. We have built the bank balance up over the years for a rainy day and that rainy day is here. Celtic need to kick on now and build a team around our best players and bring 10 in a row home because its a once in a lifetime opportunity that we can not mess up.

We shouldn’t have to sell our best player in order to spend money! How about we keep KT and actually buy some players to compliment his talents eh! Would that be to much to ask considering we had a record breaking turnover last season, that season tickets have sold out and new strips and merchandise flying out the door! And I see we’re linked with max Lowe who was on loan from Aberdeen last year! That the quality players we’re getting with the KT money? We’re going into a 9iar season with the prospect of losing arguably our best player and an inspirationaly figure for fans and players alike but we’ll just cheer up eh! Total and utter garbage!

The reason a lot supporters are voicing concerns is because we have a history in selling key players and then only spending a fraction of the proceeds, usually on utter dross.

If KT goes Lennon will be lucky to see half the funds. You mention bringing in quality - Tierney is quality and he's quoted at 25m. We can't afford quality. That's why we should be holding on to KT for as long as possible.
