Positive slant here if griff comes back the same we've got a new striker if bayo turns up there's another player if shved fulfills his promise we have a real asset if kouassi gets fit and stays fit who knows and arzani could be a player the big word is if. time will tell.

Griffiths hasn't played in months. We need a new striker if we're going to try to get through the euro qualifiers.

Lawell would definitely agree with that mally!

Is it not as much of a gamble to introduce a new striker as it is to play Griffiths?

I'm sure the Board are working on signings on top of the 'If's' as there are too many questions other than answers in that group.
Last summer's window will have taught them an expensive lesson and you would hope that they learn from it?
The current squad are still the best in the country, but we know where improvement is necessary and what positions need addressing. However, we still have to offload the surplus/ deadwood to make way and raise extra funds.

If Kouassi gets fit and stays fit he’s still a piss poor footballer.

I appreciate LG had had his problems but I don’t think we are going to get the forward we had 3 years ago. Plus if the idea is to improve every season he wasn’t really good enough at the top level ( if we get there ) so how is he going to be now. Even last year when he scored a few he was pointing to his chest saying he’s number 1. What happens if Lennie goes with eddy up top, how will he handle that? I’d say eddy needs a strong type beside him like Moussa was . In saying all that, if it’s a choice between him and Bayo it looks like he would be the preferred option.

Ice man you've see that bhoy for about 10 minutes and are calling him a piss poor footballer. What a joke.

Not a joke Kev83. In any game I have seen him he constantly gives the ball away and gets caught in possession. Nowhere near good enough for our football club. He had an ok game against Zenit and some fans are clinging to that saying there’s a player there. Not for me there are far better footballers at our club and probably more to come.

Ice Man he has had an unlucky spell of late. He deserves a chance like every player at club to impress for new manager. There are countless players that have been deemed not good enough to play, yet a change of manager/ circumstances brings out the best in them. Charlie Mulgrew being one of them.

An ok game? He dominated the midfield in a big European KO game. Not a lot of times you can say that about the players at the club in big Euro games.

Definitely think there is a player in Kouassi, if only he could stay fit. Sometimes he seems to be trying to hard when he’s played, which happens if you are trying to impress.

Kouassi is rubbish and should be binned, he will never make it at Celtic.
He doesn't take responsibility and constantly passes the ball backwards, even when he has time on the ball. A total waste of £3 million.
