In response to rumours about Celtic bidding for Turnbull of Motherwell, the Celtic CEO Peter Lawwell said "I am a great believer in the traditions of this great club and to that end I have offered Motherwell £20 and 6 packets of crisps, maybe going to ten if pushed".

I was told the fee had been agreed for turnbull. but we all hear from "someone in the know". is it true, well that's up for debate.
But you can't blame any young Scottish talent from moving south when you see what Robertson and mcginn are producing.
The good sign for me is that we are, as yet, not overlooking the really top Scottish talent in the league. in my opinion this boys the best of the lot.
I know the debate was raging about on about nitcham and although an obvious talent he did not contribute much for me last season. along with rogic they both flattered to deceive.
Would a move away for both players be good for all concerned?

They want more than 1.75. That's their record fee and the guy in charge tweeted last night anyone bidding would have to beat that.

I’d seriously test the water with £2 million for this lad. Great young Scottish prospect, bags of talent, and will only improve. The money is there and while we all want a good deal, he is easily motherwells best player and under contract, only right they try get as much for him as they can. With us showing our apparent interest now though, hopefully we’ll go back in as soon as and get a deal done. Don’t want another McGinn scenario where we watlste time haggling. If we’re serious about this lad go get him.

Hopefully business is done quick before pre season. Turnbull, Aribo and Harper in without breaking the bank. Then turn our attention to a
new RB, LB and CB and the squad is looking in better shape.
