Fair play to N Lennon, despite some doubters he managed to fulfill one of his promises and get Dembele on the pitch and played him for 45 minutes without any injury or harm . Him Johnstone and Henderson reminded me of days gone by when the Managers let us see a wee bit of the future .

The three youngsters were excellent .
I thought Ralston had a very good first half hour but seemed to be out on his feet far too early . Is this the step up from reserve, underage football too big a gap . Would a run of half a dozen first team games in 6 weeks in new season, help him?

Sorry to say but I don't think Ralston will ever make it at Celtic but I would love him to be prove me wrong.

We definitely need a first choice quality right back because Lustig has been finished for over 2 years now.

Ralston will be a good solid right back. He won't be a marauder like KT but he will defend well and that's his job.

Thought Ralston was poor, the free transfer from Caley showed up him up

Simply not good enough and should be moved on.

Most Celtic supporters want to see Ralston develop like KT and form a long-term full back partnership, but for one reason or another he has not managed a long enough run in the team to establish himself.
On top of that we have seen guys like Gamboa and Toljan brought in to deputize for Lustig ahead of him and we have signed the American duo Gutman and Perez who I think can both play full-back, so once again he may have to prove himself to a new manager in the summer?

I also think Ralston needs a run in the team to show what he can do. As far as never being good enough for Celtic as some seem to think it is too early to say and i seem to remember reading on here the same type of thing being said about Forrest and others.
