I think we Celtic fans must be realistic about whoever gets the manager's job, first of all the daft stories of Mourinho and Benetiez both would cost an arm and a leg, BEFORE adding on transfer budgets.
Rodgers was on about £2.5m with bonuses, I cannot see Lawwell topping that, if he can he will pay LESS.
If it is Lennon all us fans must back him, same as Board. But I think maximum budget he, or any manager will get is £10m at best, unless we sell for daft prices. RB, CH and LB should be priorities. We have enough midfielders if all fit Brown, Biton, Christie, McGregor, Rogic, Nicham. Out wide we have Sinclair, Forest, Johnston, Shved and up front French Eddie, Griffiths (hopefully back fit) and Bayo (hopefully just playing)
With all the loans going it looks like up to 8 players may go in total. Bring in 4 or 5 first team ready players.
What worries me is, with Congerton going and Parks looking like Sunderland bound, the bold Pedro will again assume the role of DOF, a) because of his ego and b) it saves even more money on appointing anyone else.
Big decisions need to be made soon, I just hope our Board do not let us down again like last summer.

the club have just landed us in the worst possible position for next season Timalloy. We couldn’t even sign any of Rodgers Targets last year so what’s the chances that we have completely wrecked this whole thing we had going.

We are moving on next to 8-12 squad players. Our Head scout is gone with no replacement in place for the summer. Our manager has not been confirmed and there is uncertainty throughout the whole fan base of how we are going to dig ourselves out of this hole. Day by day this is getting worse and we’re clutching at straws. We need to spend some real money for once. Get the right man in that will manage our players correctly. Put a bit of fight in our game and can spot a player with potential a mile away. Slacking in the managerial department is the concoction for disaster and we all know it. We can afford someone like Bilic who is willing to come to the club. Maybe he will actually get these players working again. They’ve all dropped in form. That squad is so gutless right now it’s unbelievable.

We need 4-5 first team ready players like you say. We’re hedging our bets on lustig for another season who can’t last a full match without injury anymore and is also slower than a week in the jail. Izzy is going to be KTs back up again. Rogic is absolutely rotten again. We have depth in one position that being CM on the whole pitch. The squad needs freshened up massively. We can’t compete with this squad much longer and failure beckons. The signs are there and nothings being done to solve the issue. If the board mess this up I hope they are ready for the backlash because they know exactly what is expected of them nowadays. I really hope no one reply’s with “remember the 90s? ”. That was then. This is now.

Do what is right Lawwell and Desmond. Don’t leave us disappointed.

Good post Tim can't argue with any of that and this window will shape the club for the next 2 or 3 years they must get it right . If we flex our mysvlrz the 7 year old club can't live with us.

KenLikeEh although we have not been at our best recently, but one defeat in our last 23 domestic games two trophies won and possible treble treble next week and we are in a hole. I would be so happy if we are in the same hole next season. The reaction to the defeat against that mob and I agree we never played well is a bit over the top. oldkilly.

Our squad have been absolutely knackered for so long. Age is catching up on some players in key positions. Form has dipped drastically. Those wins weren’t convincing and we can’t trod on and act like they are sufficient for next season. We can’t expect European football with those kinds of results and those performances against teams we are expected to beat. We need to improve.

Sorry I will never back Lenny great guy but NEVER a guy to move us forward just stagnate or go back words. And if the board can't see that IMO they can't have the best interest of the club in mind or the fans.
