Hi ed
Wondering if you could help, discussing the CL next year with a few people and I mentioned
because there are 2 English teams in the CL final who are both in the PL top 4, it means that there could be 6 English teams in the CL next year.
The winners this year will go straight into the group so the 5th placed in the PL gets a spot but because Arsenal are 5th in the PL and if they win the EL it would mean Man U gets a spot.
Hope this makes sense.

{Ed007's Note - The maximum amount of teams any country can have playing in the CL is five. Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Spurs have already qualified for the 2019-20 CL Group Stages and Arsenal will join them if they win the EL later this month, if they lose they will go into the EL next season along with Man Utd and either Wolves or Watford depending on who wins the FA Cup between Man City and Watford.
If City win the FA Cup then Wolves go in through their 7th place finish but if Watford win at Wembley they'll take the final EL place.
Arsenal must beat Chelsea in the EL Final to create England's fifth CL spot and book their place in it.}

Pretty sure regardless of whoever wins the CL, the champions league spot would go to the Austrian champions as they are ranked as 11th best league and don’t have an automatic entry. Chelsea winning EL would give France an extra champions league group stage entry, arsenal winning would give them the entry. I think that’s right anyway lol.
