I said on the live chat today that I'm absolutely convinced that Lennon has already been told that he's not getting the job which explains his demeanour on the bench of late where he looks disinterested I may be wide of the mark here but would be interested in hearing other people's thoughts.

His selections have been very strange since he took charge, he targeted Lustig when he was Hibs manager, he plays him when not fit, we have a defenders bench, loan players don’t get look in till today, if there’s a player in Burke and Toijan an exorcist would struggle, players like Rogic and Ncham way off game and fitness, other than that everything fine, hope the big boss man was watching, this is a cup semi moment.

Can only hope.
My worry is he's trying to show he's not the hot head from before.

Personally I think a few of the players don't like Lennon or his management style and a lot of the players confidence has seemed to have gone.
2 things might be going on, (1) he has mentioned that he is getting the job and they aren't happy or (2) he has told them he isn't getting the job and there are just going through the motions
I know we haven't played great this season but after the winter break until BR left we were flying.

Go then kev who would you have as manager? It's easy to criticise so maybe try a solution.

Tesla I have answer you this question before.
Phillip cocu is the type we should be going for.

Good age
Good football pedigree
He has managed at a very good level with psv after working with the Dutch national team.
He's won Eredivisie: 2014–15, 2015–16, 2017–18
KNVB Cup: 2011–12
Johan Cruyff Shield: 2015, 2016
He has champions league experience
His style of play suits our club
He works well bringing youth through as well.

He got sacked after 16 games at Fenerbahce.

16 games - 4 wins.

He done well at PSV but as I say if we can judge Lennon on less than 16 games

Then how come Cocu is amazing despite having a humiliating record at Fenerbahce?

I don't think kev is criticising Lennon he has an opinion which happens to be the same as mine and many other fans that Lennon's not the man to take us forward who is the right man remains to be seen as no matter who we appoint it's a risk but Lennon's demeanor over the last few weeks tells me he's not up for the job whether that's down to himself or the board have informed him of that fact I don't know.

I’m with Kev Cocu is a good shout, alternatively I would like Benitez as well. Not our job to identify all available candidates, but I hope the board make a smart decision. Lennon has done what was asked of him and helped us out in our moment of need, but to take us forward next season, no thanks.

Spot on Kev. He'd make a great capture for us.

So if Lennon went to Fenerbahce and got 4 wins in 16 games you would all be happy to see him as the manager?

Judging Lennon in six games?
You think now of us know anything about him beyond they six games like Tesla?
Do you think we just stopped paying attention to him when he left us saying he had took us as far as he could and needed a new challenge?
Every person on this page loves Lennon and is thankful of EVERYTHING he has ever done for this club but most of us refuse to be blinded by that love and can see he's not the man to take over.
Every manager just like players is a gamble but if you bring in the best pedigree you can it's less of a gamble.
You come on here and moan your head aff about the big bad board but want to give them a free pass to go for a guy because he's a Celtic fan and he's cheap.

A lot of players never mind managers last a full season in Turkey. I wouldn't judge Cocu on that alone, whereas Lennon where do we start?
