Lots of players choose Country over club, Rogic being one. Weah has been hung out to dry by Lennon, poor man management. Leaves a sour taste, not a Celtic way to do business.

How has weah been hung out to dry? There’s two sides of a story, if u read weah’s then yeah I agree with u 100%, but have you read Celtic and Lennons side of the story? If indeed weah was given an opportunity to represent his country but also return to take part in the cup final and refused that scenario then for me Lennon was right to tell him to go now. If weah felt for the club and fans as he made out then he’d have jumped on a plane straight back to Glasgow for the final and been part of a team going for the treble treble, instead ( if the story reported today is true) he’s let us down badly. Poor man management? Na not for me, too many people right now want to bash Lennon with a stick. Fair enough he’s not everyone’s cup of tea for the full time job, but he’s Celtic through and through, if he’s sent weah packing ( and I liked the kid) he’s done it with good reason and celtics best interests at heart. I’d also suggest he’d probably have had to get the boards backing aswell given he’s only intern manager at this stage.

He couldn't play the cup final anyway, so has been told to go meet up with the rest of USA squad at the same time as everyone else. Not exactly a disaster. Have you seen Celtic try to do business? What exactly is the Celtic way of doing business, is it not offering too low and not getting the player we wanted in the first place?

If what's been reported is true (that Weah was given the chance to be involved in the final but he refused to come back) then I absolutely support Lenny in telling him to go now. You're either a part of the team or you're not. To come out and say publicly that he was told to go just because he was picked for his national team is childish and wrong of Weah when he doesn't include what his options were and how he refused the option to come back.
I'm not Lenny's strongest advocate. I would have concerns about him being our new manager but he has the conviction to say things as they are. He's not interested in players who are not committed. For all of his own weaknesses in management no-one could ever say that he lacks commitment and focus. HH.

I watched weah last week and he was bang average. it's no loss going into the cup final none what's so ever why are people over reacting.

I think the way its been handled is ridiculous and has probably hit the nail on the head of any chance of getting the boy back on loan next season.
