I've never been so sure about anything in my life. I do not want Neil Lennon as our Manager.

1.) 10 May 2019
10 May 2019 20:48:06
Thats a bit strong Stan, I still want Neil Lennon as manager and for fans to continually criticise him when he hasn't done anything wrong is embarrassing.

2.) 10 May 2019
10 May 2019 20:59:27
I keep changing my mind.

Weah having his deal torn up makes me agree with you today Stan.

Might be as well getting behind him while it doesn't seem like anyone else is lined up.

3.) 10 May 2019
10 May 2019 21:07:32
Leon I find it more embarrassing that people can't see past the he's one of our own nonsense to see his record ain't good enough to get the job.

4.) 10 May 2019
10 May 2019 21:26:39
He is one of our own is more embarrassing than i've never been sure of anything in my life, seriously. After what Lenny has done for our club it is not much to ask our supporters to show him the respect he deserves.
The support for Lennon is half and half, which is fair enough but I will stand in his corner against OTT comments.

5.) 10 May 2019
10 May 2019 21:28:24
Played 11 Won 8 Drawn 3 lost 0

Shocking record Kev 🙈.

6.) 10 May 2019
10 May 2019 21:33:25
It's ok if you want to watch dire football.

7.) 10 May 2019
10 May 2019 21:44:45
We played dire football under the chosen one the almighty Brendan Rodgers his last year and a bit was guff? So don’t give us oh Neil Lennons poor it’s a step back? He has won more leagues than most Celtic managers in the last 20 years? He will realise the storm that will be brewing the next two years and he will face it head on! 🙂🍀🏆🏆🏆.

8.) 10 May 2019
10 May 2019 22:02:16
Neil should be applauded for binning weah now full story is out. If you don't want to play in a cup final to win a trophy with your nations approval then he's a silly boy and shouldn't be getting sympathy from us.

9.) 10 May 2019
10 May 2019 22:06:47
Leon, Lenny is one of my favourite Celts of all time and i respect all he did for us as a player and manager previously but that does not mean i want him as our Manager next season. I've been saying this for weeks and i will not be blinded by what he did for us in the past.

10.) 10 May 2019
10 May 2019 22:28:27
Nice one Stan👍.

11.) 10 May 2019
10 May 2019 22:39:42
Ice man it's the 5 trophies out of 12 last time round that's the shocking record.

Also Leon no one said it was embarrassing that he is one of our own. Just that the fact that people can't see past it.

Would anyone on this page really want a Hibs and Bolton failure if it wasn't Lennon?
Highly doubt it.

12.) 10 May 2019
10 May 2019 22:57:04
Hibs and Bolton failure lol. Guardiola would do F all at Bolton now.

He also got Hibs promoted and they have a very tidy squad so yer talking out yer backside.

The only people I've seen mention the Celtic man patter is those who don't want him

Go then kev who do you think we should give the job? Name names as oppose to sitting criticising. Who, realistically would you give it to?

13.) 10 May 2019
10 May 2019 22:58:31
What has his previous trophy haul got to do with anything? We are talking about the here and now. Some of the managers linked with the job have never won a trophy as a player or a manager. Does that mean they should not be considered? Of course not. Lenny is being berated and he’s not even appointed manager. Let’s wait and see what happens.

14.) 10 May 2019
10 May 2019 23:01:10
I wonder if van dijk and wanyama will be happy with lennons contribution to their careers.

Or does Lennon not get credit for that

Also why does Lawwell get praise for all the good but not get criticism for the poor running of the club.

Why not sack lawwell.

15.) 10 May 2019
10 May 2019 23:17:47
It's obvious why Weah never wanted to come back. What's point coming back if there is a good chance you won't get game time?

Don't blame Weah for his decision. Also wasn't so long ago Lennon got sacked due to his conduct with hibs players. Sooner we get someone else the better.

16.) 10 May 2019
10 May 2019 23:25:36
Now Lennon is being compared to Pep, the guy plays boring football end of he's a step back and by wanting Hooper and a new deal for Izzy says it all
Stadium won't be full every week if he's there regardless if he's a Celtic man or not
Why would Weah stay to get 5 maybe 10 minutes game time
How a temp manager won't play temp players is beyond me.

17.) 11 May 2019
10 May 2019 23:57:51
Weah is a 19 year old youth player. A player unlikely to return next year.

Same goes for Burke and potentially sinclair seeing as his favourite Rodgers is away.

So Lennon didn't play them as much. He stuck with a squad who will mostly be here next season.

That's a decision for the good of the club.

The same way Rodgers should have banished Boyata when he had the chance.

Nothing against Weah or Burke. They came in to plug a gap the board failed in 2 transfer windows to fill.

They are responsible for the uncertainties in certain areas of our park.

Time to back the next manager, no matter who it is.

18.) 11 May 2019
11 May 2019 00:07:52
If you read that sentence and think it was comparing Lennon to pep then you need to go back to school immediately.

Hooper is a paper rumour that is clearly nonsense yet you have attached credibility to it says even more about you.

Izzy was resigned by Rodgers who is apparently a god until he left.

Weah is a 19 year old youth player who made 5 professional appearances before this loan spell.

He was used when needed and now due to Rodgers leaving the club in a state or flux the club need to utilise players who are more long term.

For the security of our dominance into next season which is far more important than giving weah an extra 45 mins.

19.) 11 May 2019
11 May 2019 02:22:46
Nothing to do with him being our own or not kev.

He's working with another managers style and squad

Had zero transfer windows

Has not lost a game

Has only conceded two goals.

Secured us the league and got us to the cup final.

Whether u want Lennon or not the criticism is embarrassing and way way over the top.

Rodgers got away with murder here as well. Our fans turn to spoiled brats cos he had an EPL reputation.

Same way the cheered when musonda came on cos he was from england. Despite being a youth player.

Now yous are all expecting a high profile manager.

Guess what? We won't be getting one. Lennon or not we aren't getting some incredible manager in.

We aren't a big time club anymore. Our policy ensures that.

20.) 11 May 2019
11 May 2019 07:44:41
We all appreciate what Lennon has done for us, and all he’s had to take for us but because of the situation we found ourself in after Rogers left us, that doesn’t necessarily mean we have to automatically give the job to Lennie . He will always have our gratitude and at least another championship medal and hopefully a cup to add to his medal haul with us, but Lawwell and Desmond will be doing the club and fans a massive disservice if we aren’t exploring every possible alternative. We have paid Rogers 2 million a season and got all his contract paid up, so who’s to say we couldn’t pay that again. I always think that if Rogers had left us at the end of the season and we were looking for a new manager, how many on here or in Parkhead would be happy giving the job straight to Neil .? Even this season he’s looked a little out of his depth sitting down in his chair, not really changing games with tactical decisions, maybe that’s because he wants to show he has mellowed a bit. We looked devoid of ideas in the last old firm game when they had 10 men only for a cock up from Tavernier . Hibs, since they brought in hegginhbottom look a better side as well, maybe fresh ideas is what’s needed.

21.) 11 May 2019

I think our squad needs freshened up a bit. Again I’ve said many times that if we buy 4-5 players in the 4-5m category about the same level as Ntcham we would have a chance at competing in Europe to a higher degree and that would also see us through the league and cup games. Ntcham has took a slagging this year but evidentially there is a player in there. He’s never got up to speed after dembele left and that’s the worry. But, he is one of the higher quality players in the squad. The fact is we have the funds to do this and it would push us on further. The board need to back the new manager when he comes in and need to take a small risk. If the said players come in and perform to a high level then we can almost guarantee profits from them. We would probably get 10-15m for Ntcham even after he has under performed this season. That says a lot. After wages have been sidelined that’s a profit and enough to go out and buy replacements or better quality when the said players move on.

The board keep us financially stable but can we not take the risk for once and really push the boat out. All of us at Celtic want it and are screaming for the improvement. Once again we are on track for another record in the history of our club and the players have done so well under the horrible season we have just endured. Legends passing away, internal fall outs in the club, not qualifying for the champions league when it was fully expected given the quality of our opponents. It’s time to back the current squad, move on the stragglers, clear up some wages and bring in the quality we all deserve.

I’m hoping, Powell, Kalas, RB, CB and LW come in to freshen this squad right up. Powell and Kalas as we have been heavily linked and I know we have been in contact with the pair and are the quality we should be targeting.

11 May 2019 11:13:58
Tesla you talk so much Garbage it's obvious that you are pro Lennon and try and take apart anything that anyone says after a good search on Google
The Hooper story is that much nonsense that our very own Davie Hay mentioned it and said we should be aiming higher
As for Weah he was a good impact player great pace and enthusiasm which this celtic team sadly lacks could and should have been used more
The loan players are here to be used for this season next season is irrelevant as changes will be made, I'd expect at least 10/ 12 players to be gone
This is a rumour site at the end of the day.

23.) 11 May 2019
11 May 2019 12:14:23
Poor comment from you slandering a fellow celt for being pro Lennon. Neil lennon is Celtic through and through and we should all be behind him after what he has suffered for our club. You can walk the streets of Glasgow safe this man can't because he bleeds Celtic.

24.) 11 May 2019
11 May 2019 13:35:23
I like Lennon. Don't think he's world class but he's not a bad manager at all.

People saying I'm pro Lennon is wrong. Domestically I'd far rather Clarke who is unassuming as he has experience working at the very top as a head coach.

He has good contacts and can work very well on a budget.

So how can I be pro Lennon when I want Clarke instead?

25.) 11 May 2019
11 May 2019 13:36:42
UI thanks. Dazza is just angry and claims I need to Google Celtic things lol

He's angry because he exaggerated stories that were not true. He probably believes mourinho is on his way tbh.

{Ed007's Note - And saying Lennon can't safely walk the streets of Glasgow because he bleeds Celtic isn't an exaggerated story that isn't true 😂😂😂

there is a lot of certain areas of glasgow if lennon walked he would be assaulted for who he is. This is a celtic page and lennon is getting more abuse than sevcos page.
