Not looking to moan about ref, just asking a question. When Hibs took a corner and ball hit another ball thrown onto pitch, why was the corner not retaken? How did it become a drop ball? Also in media that Hibs players told not to contest dropped ball! This from a Hibs corner?

Mentioned this on the sevco page a think drop ball is the correct decision although common sense would say a retake but the thing was goldson then booted the ball way into hibs half for a throw in instead of madden saying kick into touch near corner flag . baffling and sevco cheating again.

I don’t get this don’t contest a drop ball that’s what a drop ball is for play has stopped with no advantage to any team? If a team has halted play for an injured opponent fair play then let them kick it back but as in the weekends debacle contest it as it was near the end of the match and in the newbies 18 yard line?

I do get the rules but just to play with it a bit, here’s a scenario. Someone about to take a penalty, opposition fans throw ball on park just as taker makes contact with the ball. Would that then become a drop ball. Get the timing right and you could negate every penalty kick. Just being devils advocate but it’s not an impossible scenario, IF those are the rules.

Can you see Broonie not contesting it in that situation?

Henrik the ref should be instructing the sevco player to kick into touch at that end of pitch no boot it up the park relieving pressure on them . it's a joke it should be a retake and that would solve the prob.

It shouldn't be a retake, that's not the rules but the ref has no right to tell a player not to compete for it. He should have told the ref to bolt.

The honourable thing to do was for goldson to kick the ball behind the goals for another corner, that's what David Gray was telling him to do.
Honour and a club playing out of ibrokes don't go hand in hand, sevco are refusing to do a guard of honour for the champions and the old club refused to honour their debts.

In motherwell game when they scored after we put the ball out on two occasions the ref can't remember which ref marched the play 30yards up the park because we wanted to contest dropped ball in their box.
