One game left for Lennon to, in my opinion, secure the manager job on a permanent basis. He wouldn't be my choice and I really hope the board take their time to get the right guy in. But I can't see any other realistic candidates that I'd pick before him. 10 in a row is the top priority and we should have more than enough to do so but is it too big a risk for Lennon? Really torn with this one.

{Ed007's Note - The board have had and still have a few weeks to sort out a new manager but he should be announced on the Monday after the Scottish Cup final.}

Lennon said that Desmond said to him the rumours of other managers being considered is just speculation. That suggests to me they haven’t spoken to any other candidates and certainly sounds like he’s the only candidate.

Fed up with the lack of ambition and I reckon that could backfire.

One name i've not seen mentioned is Slaven Bilic. Do you think he will be considered Ed? Currently out of work. Not my choice and don't know his stats from previous clubs just thought i'd mention him. At this moment in time i have no prefered choice will see how things pan out over the next few weeks. Like transfers it can drive you mad.

{Ed007's Note - I can't see Bilic being in contention.}

Nearly all the nonsensical names I have seen, have one major common drawback they are all to well use to losing games and not winning cups and leagues. We want and need winners, we want winners on the field and winners in the dug- out .
Lennon is a winner, I am not necessary tied to having Lennon as our next
Manager, I am open to anyone else who is a winner .
Rodgers, the traitor, wasn't a winner and when he came to Celtic and found he was a winner, he couldn't handle the success and when faced with a down turn in team form, he ran away.

As 'The Man in possession' it would seem it's only NL's to lose. Especially if he can complete the remaining games unbeaten.
There was a better energy and fluency at Hamden that was missing in a few previous games and maybe the 'ghost of managers past' has now been laid to rest and the players can relax and earn their rewards.
I have said on here before that I am not a fan of someone going back to a previous club whether manager or player, but you can't argue with his results or how the players have responded recently.

I thought we were very average looking in the first half OAB. Love NL but I'll be disappointed if he's the only candidate.
