Its about time Celtic park main stand was a listed building.
Celtic park and ibrokes main stands were both built in 1929,it only took 58 years for theirs to be classed as a listed building to preserve it.
I always thought theirs was listed because it was over 100 years old and now I have noticed that both buildings were built at the same time and that theirs was listed in 1987,whats all that about.
Celtic park main stand is now 90 years old and is a historic and public landmark and deserves its rightful place to be a listed building.

Would that not make building upgrades a problem.

Why would we want it listed? That would make it more difficult to make changes to it if we ever want to.

It didn't stop them from building on top with club deck but good point if we ever wanted to do anything with the building because there is plenty room to expand the front.

Surely we don't want it listed?
