It’s interesting to see the EFL and FA are taking Birmingham to task over their finances. 9 point deduction for breach of their rules on annual losses. I wonder if our SFA will follow suit with some of our clubs?

{Ed007's Note - England have their own version of Financial Fair Play Regs. that clubs must adhere to and there's nothing like that up here.}

After what happened with the old rangers and other clubs that died, you would have thought financial fair play regulations would be in place in Scotland.
Uefa have FFP in place when qualifying for their competitions, all the top leagues in Europe have it in their domestic leagues, yet Scotland don't have it.
Doncaster mentioned back in 2012 that something would be put in place, to help clubs stay within FFP rules, yet it never materialised.
I believe the Scottish leagues will eventually draw something up, so that teams don't spend what they can't afford but only after May 2021 when they will find out if sevco have managed to stop 10 in a row.

That toxic money pit runs at a loss every year. Over the last 7 years they have blew Tens of millions trying to compete against us.

I know there are no regulations in place up here as the sfa know a certain club wouldn’t be able to meet them annually. Need to go through the whole palava this summer again. will they be granted a uefa licence? They’ve had X amount of losses the last three years! But it’s changed to shares! Or has it? They’ve released accounts. but they are unaudited! Why do all clubs up here need to live within the rules in place but certain clubs don’t? Anyway roll on the 31st 🍀⚽️🏆🏆🏆.
